Yep, or in other states it’s just laziness…”oh they’re the incumbent? Sure, why not”
-
Yeah, well, people vote for those lenient Superior Court Judges. And they vote for in support of the Appellate Judges nominated by the governor. It's the "will of the people"... at least it is here in the DPRK.
-
DUI/DWI penalties, especially for repeat offenders and first time offenders resulting in severe bodily harm/death, need to be multiple orders of magnitude worse. It is despicable how little punishment DUI offenders receive. Screw all the judges who just throw them back into the world with zero fucks given.

No please, try and oversell this. How many times did Biden or Obama deploy guard and active duty troops to the border? How many more times than that did state governors deploy troops to shore up the problem of migration during those administrations? We have the border mission, you know what it’s doing? Providing Grey Eagles to law enforcement who are trying to do something about cartel drug smuggling. God forbid we use our training hours to do that instead of bore holes in the sky and stare at the dirt in a restricted area. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Ramping up against the Houthis in Yemem

playing with fire with them boats out there...it's only a matter of time before they get lucky. -
Honestly what you quoted made me go, “hmmm,” but after reading the entirety I’m all about 95% of it without hesitation. Like you though, I am skeptical of the obvious point you’re highlighting; the gov best tread very lightly. FWIW, my “5%” throw-shit-at-a-wall number is because I’m accounting for the overall theme of the message (I understand one could argue it’s literally more than 5%)

The DUI shit drives me crazy. I was young and stupid and might possibly have driven when I shouldn't have. I grew out of it quickly. I saw a court case on YT where the lady who was 40+ was in court for her TENTH DUI. She was pleading for leniency. Think how often that bitch drives drunk if she has gotten caught 10 times.

Ramping up against the Houthis in Yemem
ClearedHot replied to ClearedHot's topic in General Discussion
The fight against the Houthis is getting ugly. Today the Truman came under fire and had to take evasive action. In doing so An F-18 that was under tow fell overboard taking the tow vehicle with it. US Navy loses $60 million jet at sea after it fell overboard from aircraft carrier Maneuver kill? -
That day was today for that piece of trash. He was found guilty of multiple charges. His sentencing is 3 July. https://kdvr.com/news/local/man-found-guilty-of-murder-in-dui-crash-that-killed-us-air-force-lieutenant-colonel

Would be pretty wild to watch if they release any video. Glad no one got hurt!

Related to the theme of this thread, posted as I thought Farage described the issue very well: https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2025/04/28/farages-reform-set-to-spark-biggest-british-political-realignment-in-a-century-says-top-pollster/ “Capitalism is dead, it doesn’t exist, we’re living in corporatism. An unholy alliance of big business, big banks, and big government… I genuinely think we won’t get economic growth if the country is dominated by six giant multinationals, none of whom pay tax on-shore.”

Not to my knowledge.

Bill Oreilly still exists? And people listen to his guesses about economics? Jesus.

People went to college to do things besides chase ass?

Got it...my high-order opener may have been a bit much...it's just sleepy San Angelo rarely gets attention. I still think the "intel nerd furry" theory may end up being the right one, too.

I have no idea what the majors were of people I flew with. Didn’t matter to us. As long as you knew/did your job. As long as you were someone I wanted to have a beer with afterwards. Sent from my iPhone

No correlation. I'm the best pilot I've ever flown with and I majored in engineering. But I've known fuzzy majors who weren't half bad too.
-
He is not a pilot...
-
Meme came form the Airman and NCO group which has been fairly good at sniffing things out early.
-
So you are saying you have a business major?
-
Tracking the resemblance...just nothing popping up on the ol' googleizer as far as DEI or other toxic leadership controversies go. I've never been stationed there, just grew up there, and the old man hasn't sent me any local news reporting on it either...I'll wait and see if there's something over the next few days to bubbles up.
-
I've unfortunately had pretty much a uniformly negative experience with SEAL leadership at the FGO and GO/FO level. The guys at the team level were usually pretty good but even there they usually weren't my favorite organization to work with. After looking at all the evidence I honestly don't understand how they thought stonewalling Chapman's MOH was going to work out/be a good idea. Pretty atrocious behavior from the SEALs all around, and it's continuing.
-
What the absolute fuck...why is San Angelo (Goodfellow AFB) the model for toxic Wing Commanders? Seems like a lot of Intel nerd trainees are mad they can't wear their furry suits like the Keesler kids do. It can't be the fire dawgs...they kind of behavior is handled internally for course correction. Granted, GAFB had a fairly well-known Sq/CC and DO toxic combo, but that was in the '08 (?) timeframe.
