  2. Well...I'm sure we can invade any country. Reasons for attack Iraq versus Iran...10 yrs of no-fly zones (meaning we were actually flying over that country before we invaded it), 10 yrs of an embargo, Iraq is a smaller country, military & intelligence was actively engaged in Iraq for those ten years, Kurdish allies in the North. We could have invaded either country but the plans were in place already for an Iraq invasion. I'm not saying it is the reason. All I said was that I have heard theories saying we invaded one country to get to its neighbor.

  3. It seems that it's always easier to make things MORE queepy, MORE painful and MORE stupid. You always have the blanket statement of "I am allowed to make things more 'restrictive'" Once a policy is dug in well enough, you have enough idiots sold on its "purpose" that changing it is nearly impossible. It's very hard to roll back queep, because the immediate response is "you're making something LESS restrictive!" You have to push back against an entire cadre of idiots who bought off that the queep made people safer/better trained/more informed, even if all the queep did was make them miserable. It really is a strange paradox. When some jackass proposes queep, he seems to be surrounded by a bunch of spineless yes-men, but when someone wants to roll back that same queep those yes-men suddenly grow a pair and dig in to protect their precious stupidity.

  4. That's a problem with your people, not the test brother. Come take a test with me and you'll be judged fairly. We can even do hand-release pushups, that's fairly easy to judge Really...1 hour per year to assess our physical fitness is too much to ask? It seems like I spend more time training how to combat human trafficking and operate a fire extinguisher.

  5. Simple solution, instead of every officer being a line officer unless you are a doctor or a lawyer we divide it out like the Navy. Unrestricted Line Officer and Restricted Line Officer. Quit comparing a services officer to an aviator / operator.
