You've obviously never seen the "family model" mopeds in Thailand/PI/etc. Take a moped, with the father driving (kid on his lap), wife behind him, kid between them. She's sitting on a board and flanked by two kids on either side. Mom's texting on her Nokia, and there's not a helmet in sight. Now that's ghetto. I miss Asia.

So three of the Air Force Reserve Bands are getting cut. We are going from 13 bands down to 10. I wouldn't worry about those small issues too much. On TD1 just let your FLT/CC know first thing that you had a few issues/questions regarding your service coat and they will be more than glad to help you out

Best news I've heard in a long time (in terms of ensuring we have a critical mass of really really good controllers in the crew force, and a supply of SDs and IAWOs at the 4-8 years TAFCSD age that can replace the ones Tinker makes and then hemorrhages. And if I were a young brand new AWO I'd be angling to be part of the crew that is going to turn out the lights at Aviano, but that's just me. Do those that go direct to CRCs get their gate months started right away?

Pretty crazy weather this week... my after-work activities went from this on Monday (~20 degrees)... ...to this on Tuesday (65 degrees)!!!
