Solid work on the raft preflight above. I felt like I was going to hurl on my dollar ride - despite that it was awesome. Fun going from the 180HP C-172 to the 1,600HP T-6. Ah the scumbag wingman... I would've used a viper but it seemed redundant for some reason.. :-) We've all had some rock-star moments when brand new....

It's memorial day and there are guys and gals in uniform flying around the country receiving well deserved praise on their flights, as they should be. I'm currently on a plane with an older guy wearing ACU's with a full beard and instead of US Army is says "DA Civilian". The plane clapped for him, and I have a major problem with it. Should I? What's the word of civilians in military-like uniforms traveling? Looking for some other opinions. If this has already been posted, sorry I'm not scrolling all day with my iPhone. Cheers.

Happy to report that I got back to flying 2 months earlier than planned. Felt so great to get back and refuel again. I was lucky enough to refuel the A-10's that were doing the flyover for the Indy 500. Good to be back in the air.

I guess that's like preflighting your survival gear.

Heaven forbid we go to war allied with Denmark, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Norway, Portugal, Spain, or Sweden since they all have crosses on their flags because that would be somehow endorse the massacre of Muslims centuries ago. That will be the huge difference in the next war. Weinstein, you are a complete waste of skin and oxygen. Get off the planet at the next stop...come to think of it, you should get off before then...

Maybe we should pick another aging airframe and retrofit them for our purposes. I suggest the 727. Just think of the majesty of flying a 40-50 year old airplane instead of a 50-60 year old one.

Welcome to the United States (or what's left of it). There's a reason we have a separate/distinct culture compared to most of the world...though we're slowly losing our identity.
