  1. Solid work on the raft preflight above. I felt like I was going to hurl on my dollar ride - despite that it was awesome. Fun going from the 180HP C-172 to the 1,600HP T-6. Ah the scumbag wingman... I would've used a viper but it seemed redundant for some reason.. :-) We've all had some rock-star moments when brand new....

  3. If so? Then why is she not wearing the American Flag on her flight suit?

  5. So you're saying the Air Force should keep base Aero Clubs open? Sounds like that would reduce suicides.

  7. Well deserved on Memorial Day? I don't get it - were they dead? People seem to be confusing Memorial Day with Veterans' Day.

  8. It sounds like your starting with some presumption that people actually want "hope" or have some meaningful draw to it... wish it were the case. We tend to want to "give" them "hope"....Seeing everything as a political problem with a political solution, meanwhile pushing the delete button on over a thousand years of violent religious history. Good luck getting reason or hope into a culture that's completely shaped by "Allah's Will" or tribal differences. Our own refusal to understand this as a religious war is our own failure.

  9. So after subjecting us to a painful, eye-gouging, preachy [and apparantly plagerized], incredibly lengthy screed on suicide prevention, you're telling someone to commit suicide?

  10. If one lays aside the argument concerning Islam's aims on the West, there is a scale issue between Islam and "other" religious when it comes to violence and getting one's point across. This site, https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/...clearly has a spin on things, but tallies the daily violence succinctly. It posts every two or three days worth of incidents. Today's snapshot - six attacks in three days. If I check the site three days hence, there will be more incidents summarized (usually two or three each day). Without using the "Wayback Machine," please indicate where on Earth we can go to make ANY comparison - at all to the scale of violence demonstrated. FM

  11. I get to use Precheck at ATL since I'm an uber frequent flyer on Delta. First time I went through at ATL, I thought I was in the Twilight Zone or at least 1992. It is absolutely slick without all the BS hassle of removing shoes and computers etc. The precheck line did seem a bit backed up when I went through last month, but the line moved quick. I still prefer flying international still because of the lack of TSA lemmings. Back on topic... I think if you're in uniform and supply a valid mil ID, then that should satisfy the whole federal background check. Precheck for all military regardless if you're in uniform or not. I don't know if the airlines do, but they should also let military into the lounges free of charge too. I'd prefer that to flipping off some stuffy douchebag who just shushed me for making a phone call.
