Doubt the timing is strange, other than a coincidence - also doubt this has to do with Benghazi or anything else important. Seems to me it just broke when it broke. Relative media attention doesn't surprise me. I hate that I'm writing ths but I'm sure I'm right on this one: - Attack on embassy, murder of ambassador (a real one not an honorary one on a CONUS base) and three other DOS staff members, important to people like us but for most of the nation it's 'yawn" after one news cycle. - 4 star generals having sex with hot, younger married women, who then have a e-fight over one of the generals - and throw in a shirtless FBI agent too for good measure - intense public interest. Pardon the pun, but no surprise to me that the media's "all in" on this.

Looks like the hotter chick has her brains in her bra: Called 911 due to a trespasser, said she was a "honorary consul" and the cops might want to think about "diplomatic protection." UFB. Hope she was good in the sack...

There's more than one to pick from, of course there is a drop. And make sure to do well so those of us nonvolled into this business can go back to doing what we actually signed up to do.

There are plenty of people who ruin their marriages one way or another and go on to have full careers. If you think we should just let military members, especially officers, especially senior officers, run around banging whoever they want regardless of their marital status, I think you're in the wrong business. There's no law that says you have to get married or stay married. If you can lie to the one person you should be 100% truthful to, then why wouldn't you lie to everyone else? In the good General's case, being the country's chief spy, having a skeleton like that opens the door for countless issues. The potential for blackmail exists. There's obvious and apparently very real concern that classified information has been leaked. She could end up being some psycho that starts threatening every female you know. She could drive half way across the country shitting herself with the intent to murder people on the other end. It's not just the military side; Lockheed just fired their inbound CEO. (I know you said "this country" and not "this military.") Like it or not, a person elevated to that level of trust should be trustworthy and they can't expect to be surprised by the fallout otherwise.

I'm pissed at the general. The top dog can dip his wick but husbands and wives on the same base got the book thown at them for stepping into the spouse's room. And so on with other examples. He should have stuck with porn, at least that won't get jealous and send hateous e-mails to other women "trying to steal the man." Broadwell is Al Qaeda. Out (PS, "hateous" is mine and original)
