  1. If I found out that I DID NOT have a dot on that map, I would want to get it corrected immediately. Easy pickings for criminals to take that map with them on crime sprees and target all non-gun owners. This is why registration laws are a bad idea and is a major part of that 'slippery slope' that some folks deny exists.

  2. Thank God there's no firearms registration in Texas, and CHL information is protected from public release by law... And yet another reason not to live in that shit hole called New York...

  4. Bingo. The president is playing politics with this one, knowing that the fiscal cliff will give him the tax increases he wants, and knowing he can just keep forcing continuing resolutions through to avoid cuts to programs he wants to fund.

  5. What incentive is there to POTUS "wheeling-n-dealing" with Republicans when he's already going to get tax increases on the rich by doing nothing. Then Democrats and POTUS can pass a law WITH Republican support in 2013 for tax cuts for those earning less than $250,000....?

  6. I love when we get people debating the value of guns who have clearly never fired, used, been trained on or even touched a pistol or rifle. The latest from FoxNews. I've checked and I still can't get 40mm HE at my local Wal Mart, and Cheaper than Dirt is always out. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/12/24/history-gives-mixed-grade-to-impact-assault-weapons-ban/

  9. I say again: rationalization of victimhood. We Americans are all born equal, with equal opportunity before us. Easier for some? Yes. Impossible for any? No. No American is predestined to crime, or poverty, or addiction. We are free to choose our path, choose our values, choose our behavior. Show me one "disenfranchised/disadvantaged" youth, and I'll show you the opportunity before him. ETA: BOTW: Iceal Hambleton
