    I bet if you added up the number of people who leave the military after their intial enlistment/commitment plus the number of people retiring it's probably pretty close to 200,000 a year. As long as we don't do something stupid, like drive the economy off a fiscal cliff, everything should be fine.
  2. I'm on Joint Forces (the 5th test). I completed all 7 tests easily today, but the exercises are killing my will to live. I've only got 1/4 done so far.

    $5 says there's a shit-ton of "unregistered" gun owners not on that map. Someone should overlay "gun crime" locations over the "lawful owners" map--another $5 says there will be very few dots that line up.

    Hey fellas - a bit off topic from the current ammo crisis (which is a BITCH, btw)... I'm PCSing to Osan in September for a one-year unaccompanied. I want to take my H&K P2000 (9mm). Has anyone ever done something like that? I imagine I'd have to keep the gun on base, and that's not a problem. I just want to shoot while I'm in Korea so I don't get shitty at it. Thanks!
