  1. Apparently 55% of the pilots eligible just aren't grateful for the wonderful opportunity that is being bestowed upon them from their kind and giving Air Force... we will obviously be much better off without those ungrateful bastards who will be easily replaced!!! I'm sure most of those takers are putting that money to good use... it can be expensive to fly out of Montgomery to house hunt for future Staff jobs.

  2. Brilliant political move by the Pres....come off hard lined knowing he'll have support from other leaders, appeasing the masses who want to sling missiles down Assad's meat hole....then 90 right and ask Congress for approval, knowing he wont get it, and thus appeasing by default those who want nothing to do with Syria....essentially leaving himself in a neutral and as blameless a position as one can be in.

  4. As long as I can still time-travel inside a Xanadu's kettle, I don't care if girls are there or not. I just don't like waiting for drinks.

  5. Not sure, haven't seen any policy yet. Last year they only allowed our selects to fill alternate spots. At our DT we created a select only alternate list and a candidate alternate list to cover both options. There may be a few more alternate spots available next year (summer '14) because of the requirement to only nominate selects, regardless of smart timing. Even if a candidate had better timing and was more deserving, we had to nominate selects and only one candidate. HAF trying to get ahead of the bow wave of too many selects and not enough seats.

  7. Why any individual in Congress would vote for unilateral military action that does not serve our national security interests is beyond me. Some may rebutt, "But they used chemical weapons and that's not right." Fine, show me the right side. I'm pretty sure we're already at war with al qaeda and we HATE hezbollah. Again, show me our national security interest. "But the President said there is a red line and now we have to do something or else we look weak." So the fuck what. The Prez was looking to look tough, made some bullshit statement, and now he's being served a shit sandwich. Eat the sandwich, talk about your golf game, and how you're looking forward to basketball season. Oh, don't forget to add that dragging our nation into another war is not what Americans want right now, chemicals or not. If you want military action, get a coalition of many nations. If it doesn't include Jordan, Turkey and Israel, then drop it. Those are three nations with real national security interests with respect to Syria. Perhaps even include Iraq. Is war or some form of military action in the middle east for 23 years enough yet? Out

  8. Since we're only using 4 lines on an OPR anyway, why not reduce an OPR to 4 lines? No need to do a PRF at the 8 year point since your entire record would be 32 lines total. If this idea gets implemented, one of my lines would include "100,000 man hours saved."

  9. I'm looking forward to Fox News saying that a war might not be a great idea. For the first time ever.
