It doesn't need the SDB II to be fully mission capable. There are plenty of other weapons it can carry that are full up. Hell, how many current combat aircraft can't even carry the SDB I? When did the F-16 get it again? Last year? It's a cool weapon, but it's certainly not a game changer. I'm far from an F-35 apologist, but this article is total sensationalism.2 points
