That doesn't sound like a thing that would happen. Nobody cares when an IDE select gets out of the air force.

As women down here in Texas would say..."bless his heart!" And, as anyone who lives in Texas knows, that ain't a compliment!

As you probably know, CSAF's policy of restricting IDE completion by correspondence by school selects was to specifically prevent wasting an officer's time by doing it twice (i.e. practice bleeding). While not explicitly stated, CSAF's intent of eliminating practice bleeding applies to all officers, regardless of whether they are a select or a candidate. A senior rater who uses a candidates completion of IDE by correspondence as a metric for 3849 stratification is clearly ignoring CSAF's intent on practice bleeding. -9-

Some excellent weather, and an awesome video. Please get in touch if you were the aircrew today as I know there are some great images from the flights that I can get to you. Should be able to tie up with the aircraft in the video too, if you know approx times or obviously callsigns (I believe it was Shift, Rico and Brew flights). Great Work 48th FW I'll happilly make the 6 hour round trip to film/photograph you guys again, so feel free to offer any headsup in return for hopefully some great images for the squadron bar
