When MSNBC announced Trump's win in Iowa, there was an audible grunt from Rachel Madow. By the sound of it, she apparently sat on her sack wrong. Happens to the best of us.12 points

I went off the grid today. The plan was to wake up tomorrow to some sort of surprise but get a good night's sleep. I told the wife not to bother me with worldly information (I'm tdy). However, I detected a tone of ecstasy in her voice as she phoned me good night. My curiosity got the best of me and I turned on a live stream of MSNBC to see Rachel Maddow trying to explain away the failures of her network, and a few clips of lesbian feminists crying at the Hillary camp. It's the happiest I've been since I air bursted a g54 on isis in an open field. Who knows, maybe there will be some sort of crazy worm hole that sinks PA, WI an MI for the good guys, but for the moment I am a happy dude. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk7 points

8 years of being called a racist because I wasn't a fan of all of Obama's policies. 8 years of being called an Islamophobe. 8 years of the POTUS lecturing me on how to be a good Christian. 8 years of being called a homophobe. The last 2 years of being called misogynistic because I didn't like Hillary. Being called "privileged" because I have a good job and can support my family without anyone knowing how hard I've had to work to get where I am. i didn't vote for Trump or Hillary, but I'm a satisfied man today.4 points

I'm not really thrilled with him, but I'd vote for a mop with a bucket as a VP if it kept her out Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network Forums4 points

To all the celebs who said they'd leave America if Trump won... and especially Ruth Bader Ginsberg who said she would go to New Zealand... please keep your promise. I'll gladly take hard working Latino immigrants and well-vetted Syrian Christians to take your place.3 points

I've seen on several liberal media outlets that the top google search overnight has been Canadian immigration and that the internet traffic actually took down their website. Trump's election would be a true victory if even half of those Hillary-loving liberal fvcktards actually moved to Canada. Unfortunately, I'm sure that precisely 0 will actually follow through. Mr. Trump as president: Good or bad, we don't know yet (like any new president). Secretary Clinton permanently out of politics: We KNOW this is a VERY GOOD THING. I'll call that a win so far. I'd personally like to see an indictment against HRC on 21 January by our new Attorney General (supposedly Mayor Giuliani). I doubt we will see it. For me, it's less about who won but all about a repudiation of exactly this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Watching all my ultra left college friends on Facebook heads explode has been somewhat enjoyable. It's like karma finally decided to hit them in the mouth for the months on end of smug and conceited dictation they've been doing to everybody about how racist/sexist/unintelligent they are for supporting anyone they didn't. I think Hillary is still confused as to why her superdelegate votes don't count for shit now... Or why she wasn't allowed to flip a coin for the purple states. If I was a democrat, I'd be pissed the DNC shunned the voter base and got their asses whipped for it. The chickens always come home to roost...1 point

Short bus preschoolers could have formulated a more legitimate poll. I don't set a high bar for sports page writers, but the guy who picked this up and wrote an article around it should really be forced to have his dick concussed by J.J. Watt. The poll provided options and asked respondents to answer "yes" or "no" to them. This type of poll is among the worst, and no survey looking to produce reliable, "scientific", results utilizes this tactic. Unfortunately people are dumb as shit, and it's equivalent to leading a witness. Exacerbating this is the fact that the poll did not ask respondents to indicate if THEY had curbed their viewership, and if so, what motivated THEM to do so. It asked every participant of the survey to speculate on what they BELIEVED was causing the drop, whether they had stopped watching or not. You would expect the results to skew towards a story that was discussed on every news and major sporting event broadcast in the month of September whether it had anything to do with it or not. If I had to guess, Colin Kaepernick's first start this season probably saw a massive ratings boost, not a decline. A small percentage of people who like what he's done would be more likely to tune in and hope to watch him succeed. A large minority would tune in to hopefully watch him fail in spectacular fashion, and a massive majority wouldn't modify their behavior either way. It's too bad also, because the way police in this country do their job (and are trained to do their job), deserves to have every player, coach, and fan in the stands on their knees in protest. But with every news broadcast and idiotic NFL protest player suggesting the atrocious policing is all a result of widespread institutional racism, the actual problem is going to persist unchecked for decades more.1 point

Wanna help? I'm at sos now and we're doing the "think tank" on that very letter. Think tank sounds lame, I know, but they have at least given us free reign to design the process. I set up a Reddit page for people to add ideas and vote on others. The more we get, the better. You'll need a Reddit account, but if you're like me and have been bitching about this topic for years, this is a way to be heard. Anyone here who knows me knows I won't sugar coat the feedback for staff officer consumption, and we are presenting the info to at least two generals at the end of the month. https://www.Reddit.com/r/SquadronFocus Please at least go and vote on all the ideas in there. Thanks, Seth Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk1 point

Maybe some of you eat this stuff up. Perhaps, you're confident your horse will win. I'm actually nauseated for our future. I'm turning off the TV and watching some Netflix. I'll wake up tomorrow and maybe I'll care to see what happened. I need a beer. Out0 points
