Letter to the IPZ board requesting to be passed over OPS CHECKS GOOD! Passed over with a requested P from my WG/CC. (Originally #3 push w/DP before meeting) Some of my strats to give hope that others can escape: 2 DGs #1 Sq CGO Strats (multiple) #2 and 3 Gp CGO Strats #1 Aircraft Commander Strat (Sq) #1 and 2 IP Strats (Sq) WIC/Phoenix Push on OPR CCE (Sq) ADO (Sq) Chief (Sq) Flt/CC I used to care about the game, but all the above is worthless to me so I truly hope it doesn't come across as bragging. Was a little worried that my record would push me into the top 93.5% but luckily I found myself in the bottom. Thanks to all the senior guys on here who passed advice along the way. Adair t-38s do lots of stuff, all of which builds time and experience for the younguns. Most of it is being a radar reflector. Some of it is awesome. The squadron tries to work most of the snapishness out before the bcourse .... with varying success. So remember you're a new guy in a "fighter" squadron and not particularly special. Snacko and cleaning floors shouldn't feel beneath your talents (hint, you don't have any yet). You should get a raptor follow on. Unless you're a retard. Or afpc changes their mind. Or afpc forgets to build slots in the raptor training pipeline for you. But so far, it's been working out pretty well. Langley or Tyndall?

Ultimately, this change being good or bad will now rest at the wing level. There will be commander's who do great things with it, and there will be those who royally screw it up. At least with a board, it was the sum input of all of your raters up to that point. Heaven help you if you aren't the anointed one by your current leadership.

Thank god we are getting my HC-130J CSO's we are painfully short manned. BTW, it is always CSO with the HC-J; nav went away with the HC-P
