I fly a little Titan Tornado S now and it is a blast. It's a full light weight metal aircraft with only 80hp (Rotax 912) but it will do a loop, actually more of an oval ellipse since it barely gets over the top and kind of falls off the back side. It cruises at C-172 speeds and has 2 seats in tandem and a stick rather than a yoke. A fun little experimental that carries about as much (600 lbs - that includes the 15 gallons of fuel) as its empty weight (~620lbs). The reason I chose it is that the front seat height is pretty much even with the seat in my wheelchair (I'm paralyzed now so can't use feet/legs) and the rudder and brakes were easy to modify so that I can use my hands to operate all flight controls. Never consciously thought about how much I would miss flying until it was taken away for a little while. The first picture was when I test flew one before I bought mine, the second shot is my plane shot from a friends plane.

ASAP reporting should never be punitive. Otherwise nobody would report.

Every time you guys post in this thread it gets people's hopes up that the AF is actually approving Palace Chase applications only to come to this thread and find nothing about Palace Chase is actually being discussed...

In AMC, if the info from an ASAP is used for any action "against" the crew...it will be dealt with swiftly (against the abuser of ASAP information). If the crew is dumb and also fills out an AMC Form 97 that lists details beyond "X happened answered took the appropriate actions. Damage Y/N, injuries Y/N"...well that piece of shit form is NOT privileged. Ever. The worst I personally saw was a dumbass Wing SEF compare the ASAP and Form 97. One word was different between the two and he wanted to crucify the crew at Wing standup. I have seen witch hunts from Forms 97. I have squashed the hunt every time I was anywhere in the chain responsible for the individual. Including the above Wing incident as soon as I heard about it. Some of us do truly care about Just Safety Culture.

There is no requirement to refinance if you move out and want to turn it into a rental. Some people refi to a conventional to free up their VA entitlement so they can use it to buy their new home. In many situations you don't even need to do this depending on how much entitlement you have remaining. Many people have two VA loans running at the same time. Marty
