Here's my story: Palace Chase approved for 12 months off IDE in-res commitment! It will end up being 9.5 months in reality. I'm a TPS grad F-15E WSO going to U-28 CSO TR billet. Basic Flow: -Wing recommended approval -AFPC recommended disapproval (with incorrect info to SAF/PC) -SAF PC disapproved -I was tagged for 179 non-flying deployment before I could reapply -IG complaint corrected incorrect info and package resent to SAF/PC -Palace Chase approved (but 4 days before proposed separation date) -Separation date amended to 15 Oct.

I love how people are attacking Dak Prescott for saying that the anthem is not the time to protest but that if someone comes up with a plan to do something about social injustice that he would be first in line to actually DO SOMETHING about it. I guess kneeling is much easier than actual change.

Last I checked, most of us signed up to be part of the military; more specifically, the US Air Force, the god damn "Fly, Fight, WIN" set of air warriors who rain death down upon the enemies and oppressors of the democratic free world. This AFPAK hands sounds a LOT like some state department, political BS that most of us specifically did NOT sign up for. If we wanted to be politicians, we would have gone into politics. Instead we are the warriors (not used sarcastically), the "blunt objects", the "politics by other means" type. Take your double-speaking, snake oil salesman pitch elsewhere. You'll find no takers here.

I seem to remember, just before the 11F issue crested the horizon, when OGs were actually saying that RPA stink was the coin of the realm; in just a few years it will be tough to get on the command list or make O6 without it. FISH ON!
