  2. FDU guidance doesn’t let me walk around wearing a g-suit, parachute, helmet, survival vest, or full-scale airplane backpack. Taking off or putting on a belt after flight isn’t really an issue. We’re better than getting hung up on that. That said, it would be a shame to lose the bag to an equally or less functional garment. A distinctive flying uniform has its value in an organization that Americans count on to fly, fight, and win.

  3. First open lesbian GO in the USAF who was one of the first women to fly the B-2 removed? Either failed a PT test or killed someone.

  4. Let's not talk about low SA on her part during ground ops after saving Jon's a** as he was about to be overrun.

  5. Totally on board with what your saying. I guess what I was trying to say is that the AFE equipment was designed around the flightsuit, and that's the likely limfac for ejection seat aircraft.

  6. If you're getting out because of lifestyle then think twice about fire fighting. You live like a gypsy. You do not need ag spray experience for SEATs. Lots of guys go in from single seat fighters. One of the biggest outfits is run by a viper dude, and he hires a lot of AF & Navy. Lead plane is another options, but it's also the gypsy life and working for USFS which has laughable leadership (worse the AF -- imagine that).

  8. So you're saying there's a job opening in Colorado Springs CO?

  9. Contrary to the opinion above, I would recommend retaking the AFOQT. Most fighter apps will have higher scores across the board, so getting those up will only certainly help. It’s one less thing in your application to have to “explain”, at least.

  10. The reason why GO’s gets caught with IG stuff is because by law they have to be investigated by the Service Secretary IG/DOD IG. It’s no so easily swept under the rug by a Wing/NAF/MAJCOM IG.

  11. What happens to a Brig Gen who can't do their job anymore? Do they just stay home until a suitable position is found for them? "She's a 4.5 star wacko," one former academy officer said of Goodwin, with whom he served alongside. Probably was a wacko as a Lt, Capt, Maj, Lt Col, and Col but now the AF is just catching on...yeah right.

  12. Saw Triple Frontier on Netflix, and now I want the last two hours of my life back. You get the feeling they blew 95% of the money on getting A-list actors, and then kinda phoned-in everything else. The storytelling was uneven, there were random plot threads that went nowhere, and the whole thing felt kinda mediocre and silly.

  15. I thought it was ok. Some pretty good shots, especially the B-1 with Vegas backdrop. But running it past some current and qual’d dudes next time will prevent lines like “strapping on our nation’s business.”

  17. It's not declaring innocent... But then, even if you're found completely blameless in a court of law, you still wouldn't be declared innocent. You'd be declared "not guilty". Innocent until proven guilty means that innocent is the default. If Trump is not prosecuted and found guilty, he is by definition innocent. It's a bedrock principle of Western law.

  18. Wut? Mueller conducted an investigation and summarized his findings in a report, he didn't adjudicate the case. When a district attorney declines to bring murder charges against someone because they don't think they have evidence to meet burden of proof you thought that meant the state was declaring the individual innocent? You need to fire your criminal justice teacher. And for the record, if you go to trial and the verdict is "not guilty" that's not a declaration of innocence either.
