From the UFT Board page on the Portal: "The list will be on sent to FSS's via AFPC Secure tonight, 6 Nov, and the notification of the results will be in their daily email that gets sent at 0230 central time each night. Specific timing will vary by base and how quickly the FSS's get the info to the Commanders."

Give me a call Duck, but if he still has the $375K loan counting against his entitlement he's going to have to put money down. Also with the income we'd need to look at DTI because he hasn't been a landlord before and doesn't have a tax return filed yet showing rental income so that could be an issue. I see last year the list was published on the 7th but assignments didn’t come out until the 19th. Think that’ll be the same this year?

Well, here at Dyess we are 3-D printing the controllers for the B-1 avionics system for pennies on the dollar. As well as replacement ICS switches, switch covers, and other cockpit components. I don't think we're quite to printing a new engine from scratch, but if I can get even these plastic pieces in a day instead of weeks, for a fraction of the price... I'm all for investing in the idea just to see what airmen can make. I'm old enough to remember bitching that the Air Force didn't want ideas from anyone below O-6. I'm sure as hell not going to shoot down airman Snuffy's good idea "because that's how we've always done it".

Why are 3D printers all the rage in these innovation labs? If we were 3D printing parts to fix our broke ass airplanes, cool. But really, what are we 3D printing?

I know we've already moved on from Greta but a friend sent me this a bit ago.

All this talk about Delta, United, AA, Southwest just makes me sick. Where is the love for the other major airlines? FRONTIER anyone? SPIRIT anyone? It's like they don't exist to you people.
