Armed overwatch can be done with existing aircraft recapitalized or reconfigured. SOCOM is considering a host of options, and I personally don’t think the A29 or AT6 are viable candidates.

Pile-on kudos for Jon and the Trident team. I've used them for: Purchase Jul '18, Refinance Dec '19, Pending purchase this spring We're moving to SLC area and due to home prices wanted to take advantage of the new VA rules this year for no max loan limit. Therefore had to get out of both of my VA loans. Jon helped me refinance my investment property in SC to a conventional and we're working through selling my current home and purchasing the new one. All this in the couple months post transfer to the Reserves and start at Delta, which I feared would made the income piece trickier. Jon and the team made it no issue. As stated in multiple posts, can't beat their rates and the process has been seamless as usual. Won't go anywhere else for my mortgage needs!

There’s a lot of USERRA-exempt orders to be had on deployments, staff, school in res, etc. Prepare yourself to have to take a 3 year staff job in DC/Langley, because you’re not likely to make up 3 years with just collecting USERRA-exempts deployments (and why would you want to?) There’s WOM of consideration for making all CC orders exempt, but not an actual thing right now. My opinion without knowing your exact situation: get your line number and see how the AF cards fall, but don’t prioritize the AF over the line number.

Any set of orders that are USERRA exempt. Have a few guys in my unit facing being a year or two short of a 20 yr AD retirement and they are scrounging for any flying deployment that is USERRA exempt. We’ve also had dudes fill non-flying staff job billets as well just because they were USERRA exempt, and preserved their leave. Good luck with the decision.
