  1. Yes, I have been known to drink PBR. Quick story, Cannon shoppette, just bought a 30 rack of PBR at 1700, music is playing. Almost a dozen folks stacked up at the door waiting for the music to stop. I punched through the crowd, got outside and proudly stood for the national anthem with my right hand on my heart and my left hand holding the PBR. Pink bikini hotness here

  3. 'Member those times when Trump's son was found to be a crack addict? Denied fathering a child from a one night stand with a stripper? Cheated on his wife with his brother's wife? Popped positive on DAY ONE of his US Navy career? Sure am glad he didn't use racist language regarding blacks and Asians in leaked e-mails that barely have gotten any coverage. His multi-millions came from...somewhere. His ties to the CCP can be discussed later, I guess.

  4. FWIW I met quite a few IMAs at the last “training event” at Osan. It seems like there are quite a few opportunities to augment AOCs and then get days for the various exercises throughout the year. I’m not sure what the expectation is, but some of the folks I talked to pretty much show up for every exercise.

  5. You mean like some news outlets swooned over Trump? C’mon guys. Yeah, the coverage is biased. But I don’t buy this “it’s all stacked against conservatives” bullshit. The conservative media has plenty of power. Maybe more than the liberal side. Tucker and the like have been apologists for, and are complicit in the armed insurrection of the Capitol of the United States for gods sake.

  6. So IMA's are not subject to any sort of mobilization? I thought that was the whole point. They certainly are, in theory. Some positions might be more “vulnerable” than others. I’ve yet to meet an IMA who was involuntarily mobilized, let alone deployed. My particular organization would “deploy” (mobilize) its IMAs to a CONUS location to backfill the AD suckers sent to some third world shithole. Even still, that hasn’t happened in more than two decades. Yep, never deploying again.

  7. I’m pretty sure it’s mostly the patches. The wing king didn’t ban faip flags. Just made them a Friday thing instead of every day. Idk why it’s a big deal, back in my UPT stud days at DLF nobody could wear pen tabs and faips could only wear faip mafia patches on Friday. Why or when it turned into an every day thing I’m not sure. 8. Been a year since we lost Kage. I didn't chime in last June due to being directly involved in the search operations and felt it wasn't right to talk about it then. That said, it was a long day for all involved with some really terrible weather down low. My aircrew and STS PJs performed admirably and we had some great support from some UK standby support vessels from the oil industry. Unlike the AIB mentioned, American aircrews found him, not the Royal Navy (they were not even there, so not a dig on them). I am glad we were able to help give closure to his wife, family, and squadron mates. To Kage, Nickle on the grass.

  9. My point was that there's more to JASSM planning than "just click the button". The argument put forth was that cargo crews wouldn't require any additional training to dump a pallet of JASSM out the back of the aircraft. I don't think that's true. We have a five-page thread on how the AMC folks already aren't getting the training to do their primary jobs in a high-threat environment. And now you want to put another mission set on them. One that, as someone who has spent a lot of time training to JASSM, is very time and energy intensive to train to.
