Scary stuff when you really read between the lines. I continue to stand by the fact that the real extremism threat to this country is far left extremism packaged behind nice words like diversity, inclusion, and my absolute favorite: EQUITY. Anyone who believes in a free society should get shivers down their spine when they hear politicians, the military, private companies, etc... using the word equity.

I think this is a logical explanation. I think Big Blue is trying match Big Army's O5/O6 promotion timeline hence the 5 looks and no BPZs. The transition period (starting this last board) is going to be painful until things "normalize". The 1st look is now really 2BPZ, and 2nd look is 1BPZ, 3rd look is IPZ (~16 yr TIS). So starting this year they need to ensure the golden children are promoted 1st look along with the regular people. Everything comes down to promotion timeline.

Boys, if you get hired somewhere, keep all your other apps on file and updated for at least a year. With the amount of movement going on right now, you'll probably be able to switch companies with minimal loss in seniority and be able to end up somewhere with a domicile that works better for you.

LAF - A (Air Ops and Special Warfare) LAF - C (Combat Support) LAF - F (Force Modernization) LAF - I (Information Warfare) LAF - N (Nuclear and Missile Ops) LAF - S (Space Operations...or is this going away with the Space Force?) I continue to be shocked and dismayed by folks who bust their ass, get a DP, and then get passed over. At that point...why bother even giving the senior rater DPs to hand out? Pushing for "equity" is a master stroke by the left because it can never be achieved. You will always have more work to do in the pursuit of perfect equity so it always gives them a racist/classist boogeyman to point at when things between groups are inevitably inequitable. I think the best strategy for republicans is to try and educate the public that equity between all groups is never possible and has never happened in the entirety of human history at any time or any place. The fact that the equity goal is vague and the goalposts are always moving is the feature, not the bug.

A few thoughts in no particular order: -I really miss Jon Stewart on tv and his show was genuinely the last time a parody news show was funny. Definitely didn't agree with him all the time but you could tell he thought critically about things and formed his own opinions. -Pretty wild that the lab leak theory is now mainstream after being a cancellable offense only a few weeks ago. -Maybe the lab leak would have been taken more seriously by everyone involved if trump and fringe right wingers hadn't immediately equated it with an intentional release of a bioweapon. That was one of trumps biggest weaknesses. He said plenty of true things but most of them were buried under a mountain of horsesh!t and/or packaged in the dumbest way imaginable.

Buddy this gets down to personal responsibility and something you should probably be figuring out for yourself and not asking an internet message board…
