Ugh, so true. On the bright side, no more CRO reports? Including the worthless CRO OPR they made me do when my boss retired plus this new SCOD, that’ll put me at 6 OPRs during my first 4 years as a Guard DSG. Comes out to a new OPR for every 26 days of actual duty. “Physically present! Proved existence at regular intervals--enhanced recollection for 40+ unit mbrs” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯4 points

You can only have too much ammo if you're swimming or on fire! A buddy of mine told me about a guy he knows who has a shipping container full of ammo buried on his property south of San Antonio. Of course, that's all he told me! 😉2 points

https://www.newsweek.com/netherlands-vaccination-booster-coronavirus-covid-shot-1664296 Netherlands planning up to 6 booster shots by 2023. Insanity is an addiction for these people. Shame on anyone who is willing to force injections for theater.2 points

Same circus, different clowns! Although I will admit when it comes down to actually being a productive president, I think the last clown did a better job of it!2 points

I may have one more chance to apply after this board but Itl be close to age limit. On a side note I’m Not trying to be the Debbie downer or bearer of bad news, and not sure which rated job you currently have, but rumor is at least for us RPA folk….that bonus is going away for those coming eligible in FY23. Now this is rumor mill intel so let’s all take it with a grain of salt. But more importantly let’s hope we all get picked up for whatever new job we are gunning for on this board!1 point

While I'd like to agree, what I've witnessed in 2021 has me doubting that all people actually know this. I'm pretty sure there is a large section of our population that believes...wrongly...that the 1st Amendment means they can say whatever they want and receive no consequences, regardless of what they said.1 point

Good luck to all, this is my 2nd and last attempt too. If I don't get it this time I'm gonna sign the bonus for my current rated job and call it a day.1 point

Middle schools start back to school in a few days, right? Hopefully content like this will decrease once the kids are back in school.1 point

I have previously been of the mindset of ammunition simplicity for logistics purposes. I had a single caliber of handgun, a total of 4 calibers of rifle, an only 12 gauge for the scattergun. The recent ammo shortage has actually pushed me in the opposite direction, so I've doubled my calibers. That way when the store is out of 30-06, I buy 6.5 Creed. When they're out of both, they usually have some for my AK or 300 blk. So, short story long, might be worth picking up the rifle if you're even considering it as maybe there will be the 22-250 when there is no 223.1 point

I’m sure the threat of SCODs is what’s driving Putin’s decision to retrograde troops from the Ukrainian border.1 point

The nice part is that those pronouns can be fluid from line to line depending on how much white space is left at the end of the bullet.1 point

Show me any proof of this. I think this is gonna be a tough one for you. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence - how do you make policy when you actually have so many unknowns? Cloth masks have been shown to be at least 20-30%+ effective with current terrible usage, increasing with N95s. I personally don't agree with using them, but it is a far cry for someone to try to say that they are wholly ineffective. With that being said, based on the risks to emotional health/interpersonal relationships, I believe we should accept the increased spread that would come with unmasking. But that is a different argument than "mask don't work." There is 100% a scientific justification that isolation prevents spread. Don't see how that is unscientific. Sure, the kids may not die if they get COVID, but I don't see how you can argue that this wouldn't reduce spread to their families and therefore the rest of America. The middle is the way forward. Maybe this is the fundamental disagreement that we won't see eye-to-eye on. Compromise and understanding is the way forward. An America of 330M people, not just half on one side or the other, is the right way.1 point
