Took me almost five years to build the story, and it might not make me any friends in publishing it, but Schultz’ honour deserves to be defended: Doc Schultz' Area 51 Mishap: The Details Revealed https://youtu.be/zidJB6qxlKs9 points

Music video for one of the new Top Gun soundtrack songs by (don't shoot the messenger) Lady Gaga recently released; made me chuckle to see what Navy pilots like to fly on their own time:2 points

It was merged into just the AFMAN 11-202 series. So 202v3 and your MAJCOM sups are where you wanna be reading.1 point

Definitely interested in some AFSOC/ AF flight test stories! If anyone is ever interested, please feel to DM or reach out at safeondeck@gmail.com directly. For clarity, this isn’t project for money/ likes/ clicks/ etc. I don’t make a penny (if fact the recording gear gets expensive!) and have zero plans ever to. My goal is to professionally share those cool stories we have all heard around the squadron bar/ wardroom with folks who don’t otherwise have the opportunity to be there.1 point

The focus is just interesting aviation stories for military? If you’re in Pensacola and reaching beyond the Navy, there’s plenty of Hurlburt and Eglin based USAF folks with great stories. I know a couple active on this board and some others that aren’t that have all kinds. Good luck!1 point

I just gotta say, if you are applying to squadrons and you are online debating abortions in the same place you ask for advice and give away a lot of personal information, that's probably a losing tactic...1 point

So the person unconscious and on life-support still has brain activity and can live. Just like the fetus. I think you might have missed my point. So you’re saying your life is worthless? And if you would not have lived it would’ve been no big deal? You’re right it is an emotional argument that I’m making but I’m trying to make it personal to you instead of ambiguous towards just anyone. Not sure I understand your gun ban debate. Apples and oranges. You’re right. We disagree. I see the overwhelming majority of cases as black and white. As for those that aren’t, then that should be discussed. And why in the last 20-30 years has the abortion discussion moved from safe, legal, and rare moved to it should be allowed at any convenience. Convenience is a large majority of what abortions are today. You’re right. It is complicated as well. Have you looked into planned parenthood’s origins and it’s dealings in racism and eugenics which aren’t altogether gone today?1 point

It's almost like the country is divided on the topic and localizing the issue allows for a more flexible and tailored solution.1 point

You need to get out more. We are all products of our life’s experiences. My personal views are shaped by a few things. I did get my daughter’s mom pregnant when we were dating. She considered getting an abortion. I was living through the worst part of my life when that happened. Raising her was really hard in the beginning and it took a lot of sacrifices. We got through it. She’s 23 and is the light of my life. I dated a girl once who had an abortion before she met me. She was emotionally ruined by the experience. She regretted that decision to her core. My buddy and his wife had their daughter at 24 weeks. His wife had preeclampsia. Their daughter turns 7 this weekend. She’s a happy and healthy child. The medical community is making incredible progress towards helping women with medical issues while they are pregnant. There are answers to problems we encounter in life whether they are self induced or not. I don’t believe killing our children is the answer.1 point

As a E-3 Crew Chief I saw that among many AFSCs in the community. I also worked Rivet Joint and it seemed more cooperative.1 point

I think some of you are missing the forest through the trees. The question being posed here is: If we are going to argue that a fetus is a human, then why don't all laws/norms then apply to that human? The example given makes sense. If an infant dies in his or her parent's care, it will generally be investigated as to whether the parents were neglectful. If a miscarriage takes place, and we define the fetus as human, why don't we apply the same rules? Shouldn't the mother, at the very least, be forced to to take a blood alcohol test? If she is positive, should she be then charged with murder?1 point

Reports of a Ukrainian strike a few days ago that hit a command post and killed approximately 200 Russians including a few more General Officers. Also reported that same strike missed Russian General Aleksandr Dvornikov by less than 30 minutes. He is the new commander of the Ukrainian invasion and in Putin's close circle. Russian loses are severe and have been mounting, to the point the Russians are reportedly doing a second mobilization. Ukrainian intelligence uncovers covert mobilisation of the unemployed and "Cossacks" underway in Russia. Total numbers are still unknown but estimated at over 10,000 soldiers killed. With fairly high confidence it has been reported Russia has lost at least 700 main battle tanks, a significant number.1 point

I interviewed both of the widows of the two pilots killed in the Constant Peg programme. Their stories are heart wrenching and their emotions were raw even after the passage of so many years. It took 30 years for one of them to find out how, where and what her husband was doing when he died. The other had a pretty good idea what her husband was doing, as I suspect the Schultz family does, but that's not the same as knowing for sure, and it's not the same as getting real answers. "Doc" Schultz may have made the ultimate sacrifice, and I doff my hat to him, but his wife and five children are the ones who must live with the consequences. In my mind, they are the real heroes. My thoughts go out to them.1 point

The level of intellectual dishonesty shown by the pro-abortion crowd is astounding. It’s the most frustrating part of the whole argument. You all know damn well that life begins at conception. After conception, life is just a series of periods of growth and development followed by decline and death. It’s a simple circle of life. You just won’t say you understand that out loud. Instead, you all come up with endless endless endless arguments about why you are for abortion as a distraction from the truth. Just admit that you’re pro-self and that a baby will interrupt your life, finances, work, goals, etc. I’d have a whole lot more respect for you and your argument if you were just truthful about your reasoning.0 points
