  1. Never should have been a mandate. I will never forget all the COVID psychos within our ranks and the massive damage they caused; they were pushing a mandatory booster so hard but thank God that didn’t become policy. What a tragic episode in DOD. There must be accountability or we’ll never recover legitimacy.

  2. Some of these psychos are on this very forum. They were cheering/hoping all those against covid shots would have their careers ruined and/or booted from the military. I hope I can get our guy back to training in time to give a big fuck you to any of his former CCs who treated him like a piece of shit when they pulled him from the B-Course with a few rides to go. I'm also hoping the government is force to back pay him, though I'm not holding my breath. I have absolutely zero confidence that there will be much accountability for the stupid decisions made over the last few years. Fuck, even the memo states it only protects those "currently in the military." I'd imagine that some lawsuits will follow and some may get back in (though I'm not sure why they'd want to) or at least get some form of payout. This is my shocked face... But holy hell, a few years ago, you didn't want to be the guy who even hinted at this. "You clearly don't follow the science!" "...why do you want to kill my kids/parents?!?!!??!?" How many people did we kill via depression because of the lockdowns? Maybe it didn't make blimp on the chart, but it might be an interesting stat to see.

  3. I’ve got soldiers pulling 24 hour guard of an SKL because we don’t have approved safes on hand while we run secure comms for an exercise. Jokes on them, we could have just kept that stuff in my garage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. Who among us doesn't have some TS/SCI laying around in their zipped up leg pocket? I mean, it's zipped up, which practically makes it's a SCIF.

  5. “Hey we’re going to invade your country, but if you try to fight us in our country we’ll be BIG MAD.” Lol…that’s not the statement you put out when you’re winning. Slava Ukraini!

  7. https://www.foxnews.com/media/dr-leana-wen-slammed-admitting-theres-been-overcounting-covid-deaths-two-half-years-late Its like people sat on the train tracks for 2 years watching a train coming at them in slow motion and just said it was going to be ok over and over. Now they are realizing they are about to be hit by a train and they are scared and want accountability? Like good lord, I can go back in this thread to 2020 and see people talking about this exact topic. It was well known hospitals received additional federal funding based on "how bad" the COVID pandemic appeared to hit their facilities and associating deaths with COVID was the best way to secure more grants.

  8. They just found MORE classified documents at Biden's house. 1. Why was he allowed to return to the scene of a potential crime? 2. Why are they allowing his lawyers to search for documents instead of the FBI?

  9. So it was legal for all these years (it’s already gone and forth in the past) and it’s suddenly not legal, according to a 3-letter bureaucracy, even though there hasn’t been a new law passed to make it not legal. This will also be overturned, eventually. In the meantime, just don’t be stupid (ie tell people online that you have it, share pics/videos, etc).

  10. Three years later and this horseshit is still going on. What’s even more hilarious is it’s “regardless of vaccination status”. Also very fitting that you can’t leave a comment on the post. 2 weeks to stop the spread.

  11. It wasn't It depression, it was Covid. I know because I use the word Science when I can't explain something or I simply don't want the truth to be told because it goes against what my team believes. It was Covid - Science Changing definitions - Science Woman who support women's rights but she can't define what a woman is - Science You can only be racist if you're white - Science (btw, I'm not racist I know a lot of white people) Life begins when we say so - Science I like Science. These guys (sexless humanoids) need to quit abusing that word.

  12. Its utterly ridiculous. Could you imagine us invading Mexico, and NATO obviously won't get involved. But when Mexico attacks some force staging areas in Texas all of a sudden NATO goes "woah Mexico....., that's an Article 5 violation! You attack one of us you attack us all!"

  17. For anyone who is a CSO alternate I’ll be declining my spot next week to get a crack at the board one more time. Got some feedback today from my leadership that it really came down to the letter of rec/personal letter. Even though I had a PPL with a 96 afoqt and 92 PCSM, it seems like a lot of other people were in my shoes. It’s an honor to go through this process with you guys, especially as a non rated enterprise cyber dude. I’ve learned a lot and am definitely not quitting. Time to network and max the PCSM. Also something that might not be talked about as a tiebreaker could be someone’s first or second time applying to the board. Not sure if they would prioritize someone who has one last shot versus someone who will probs be back next year. Congrats to those who got it! And for those who didn’t, we have a new year upon us to get after it.

  30. Here are some interesting things I've picked up working heavily in NATO/Europe. Really opened my aperture for how I see the world. 1.) Europeans do not see the US as the winners of WW2. They believe WW2 was largely won by the time the US entered and US entry just accelerated the end. They view the war through the cost paid to attain victory and the majority of those costs were paid by the UK and the Soviet Union, especially the Soviet Union. They do recognize that the US was in a prime position to delineate peace outcomes though; see our earlier conversation about world leadership. 2.) Russia and many FSUs don't believe Russia lost the Cold War. They believe the Cold War ended mutually after Gorbachev initiated a series of actions to approach Bush about de-escalation because Gorbachev realized the Cold War was upsetting the global order. They literally cast their own leader as the hero, and see the entire affair as a draw. The US and NATO betrayed these outcomes when they began rapidly expanding NATO eastward despite promises they would not. 3.) About half of senior German officers in the German armed forces were East German officers when they joined. They usually came from astute, pro party families to attain this position and as such they largely see the world through Russia's lens and not ours. They are larger dissenters in most situations than other FSUs, who's entry into NATO was under different circumstances. 4.) There are LOTS of people in the world who DO NOT WANT to live in a democracy. This is really hard for us to grasp as it's such a central value to us we can't see how anyone wouldn't want it. But you have to imagine first, how they are educated, then second, think for a minute: when they turn on American cable news, what do they see? BLM protest burning cars, rioting, looting stores. The January 6th riots taking over the US capital. Extremely unpopular leaders like Trump and Biden winning elections. Thats how they see Democracy, and they legitimately believe Democratic states are filled with political unrest, violence and instability. They believe a strong authoritarian government is necessary to enforce rule of law. 5.) The Cold War has been over almost as long as the Cold War lasted now yet we still continue to frame our foreign policy through it's echos. One thing I have difficulty explaining to civilian family and friends is the geopolitical nuance in war and how it's never clearly black or white but usually lots of grey. But people want easy answers because they want to know "who to support, who's the good guys?" Of course it's never clearly simple and in war good guys are rare. Good sides are rarer because states by nature do not have morality, just interests. That's something our US education system doesn't teach in enough depth for people to really comprehend the underlying levels of it. On another note, Tulsi Gabbard made a tweet today that she believes war could have possibly been avoided if the US agreed to address Russia's concerns about Ukrainian entry into NATO. This tweet was largely condemned by pundits which I think is a shame because I think she is right. Historically it's been European tyrants invading Russia. Not Russian tyrants invading Europe. And until we recognize that Russia doesn't want another Hittler or Napolean getting within 60nm of Moscow we probably are going to struggle to understand their interests and foreign policy position.

  31. It's the internet. ad hominem attacks are authorized. And using the phrase ad hominem makes it look like you don't know the definition of a new latin word. Just say "personal attacks." Have you seen what that cat has posted? I'm definitely sad that he flew B-1s. We have some great people in that community. Hopefully he hasn't been running around the community poisoning the Lts with his takes on the merits of mandates, article 15s and such.
