Relax dog I was (mostly) joking. Wear whatever you like/what is most comfortable/fits your mission the best. I have no doubt other garments outperform the green bag in many ways. But not in uniqueness, heritage, or looking dope.. which is probably why the Air Force will get rid of it some day. When I see flying group and wing CCs wearing OCPs or the two piece that tells me the green bags days are numbered. Because anything special or cool going on in the flying ops world must eventually be neutered in the name of inclusivity and preventing hurt feelings.

I’ll never understand that willful ignorance. I know it makes me a total try harder but when I worked at the WIC I made sure I learned what satellite was which or what NKE could do what effect (already mastered a computer visrecce). It’s pretty amazing how far something that simple (that takes a max of 30 minutes) goes to helping build a cohesive team.

I don't think the implication was that Biden was there to discover the balloons. I don't think the POTUS has anything to do with the whole F2T of any of that. That article wasn't posted to throw shade at Trump. It was posted because the Biden admin accused the US public of not caring when Trump let balloons fly over the US but suddenly it was a problem that he's not shooting them down over Montana. The Trump admin and the DoD later released info that said they weren't even aware the overflights were happening while Trump was in office, it didn't become apparent to the DoD until afterwards, and only upon review did they recognize this had been occurring since Trump's presidency. Now, I'm not "in the know" anymore and frankly don't care to be. But that is the public narrative and that is the narrative China is digesting--is that the US didn't recognize immediately that these overflights were happening, then when they did recognize it they tried to keep it hush from the public, and only after the public started seeing the balloons and asking questions, did the government become transparent with more info.

Thats all this stupid uniform board is. We convene it every year and every year all they do is circle jerk decisions from 5-10 years ago back into style so that someone else can change it back in 5-10 years. If Green bags were still common I guarantee sleeves would have to come back down next year but since that isn't happening my money is that hands wont go in pockets anymore and you can't talk on your cell phone again. I don’t read that as I can’t have a colored morale shirt in my flight suit. I read that as the Mx or LRS troop can have a Friday shirt in their OCPs with a big logo on the back.
