  2. The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation lays out the order in this world and in God’s design (even the relationship between Christ and the Church is illustrated by the bridegroom and the bride). The whole Bible unapologetically claims the only sexual relationship that is within Gods will/plan is between a husband and wife. Anything sexual outside of that is sin. You’d have to ignore the whole Canon of scripture to believe that homosexual activity is not sinful. As far as that research, pew research also showed that more than 50% of claimed Christians in America also claim to believe that casual sex is not sinful. Almost 25% also claimed that Christ’s death and resurrection are not necessary for reconciliation with God the Father (salvation). There’s a ton of secular Protestants and Catholics who claim the label of Christian but don’t actually believe in Biblical Christianity. Only God knows their heart, but denying necessary Christian beliefs and claiming Christianity seems suspect. I acknowledge we’re all hypocrites too often, but disbelief in essential doctrine is more than hypocrisy. https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/08/31/half-of-u-s-christians-say-casual-sex-between-consenting-adults-is-sometimes-or-always-acceptable/

  4. Definitely worth a phone discussion since there are a few variables to ensure a seamless closing...850-377-1114. Some general answer that’d help everyone… 1) Conventional conforming loans (not jumbos) with good credit can go up to 50% debt to income. VAs will go higher…I’ve had a 74% before. All lenders use the same automated underwriting systems so unless they have a self imposed restriction then everyone can go above 41% 2) VAs have the lowest rates usually by .5-.75% on 30yr loans. 15s are pretty similar. 3) You can do a simultaneous sale and purchase with both running in parallel and we don’t need to count the current home as long as it sells prior/we can get a copy of the signed closing docs 4) You can potentially qualify for a second VA loan not contingent on the sale of the current property but there are some VA entitlement numbers we need to run. 5) If you’re retiring or separating within 1yr then you need to build a plan because their are a lot of underwriting rules that apply that we can help you circumnavigate 6) Don’t pay off anything you don’t want to until we run automated underwriting because it may not be needed. Worst case we can exclude it and mark it paid at closing to save paperwork/energy on your part. 7) Preapproval apps don’t expire as long as income/assets don’t change. The hard pull credit report is only good for 120 days and needs to be good through closing but that can always be refreshed. A soft pull is an option but automated underwriting can’t be run off a soft pull so if debt to income is tight then a hard pull is the only way for us to determine what will work. Its always good to build a plan and there is no reason not to start sooner than later especially with major life transitions. Happy to chat anytime. Cheers! 5. We had a guy in my class who was hired for F-16s in the Iowa ANG. He finished just a spot or two below top half in T-6s, and was not sent to -38s. They sent him to T-1s on the condition he would find himself a new unit. He didn’t, so the T-1 Sq/CC found one for him. As for the 3rd question, that shouldn’t happen AFAIK. 6. After months of dragging their feet the Treasury Department FINALLY gave the House Oversight Committee access to suspicious activity reports generated by the department on transaction within the Biden family. It has come to light that SIX additional Biden family members were paid many millions of dollars by Chinese and Russian firms.

  8. Funny how you mention Liberty University wrt saying gay marriage is a sin…and then using a comparison have to say Muslim “extremists”…not once, but twice. Why couldn’t you have just said Muslims? Or is Liberty University the same as Muslim “extremists” in your mind?

  13. Eh, you look at Kathleen Hicks' bio, and it becomes clear how someone like her could arrive unprepared. She's a DC swamp creature through and through. She's spent her entire career within the DC Beltway. It's not surprising that she would appear so entirely out of touch. She probably thought Jon Stewart would crack a couple jokes, shake her hand, and leave. Look at her bio; she's spent her entire adult life as a bureaucrat in the federal government. She's married to a fellow swamp creature (Thomas Hicks) who had such career highlights as "helping to pursue low emissions alternative fuels" as Undersecretary of the Navy, and now runs a K-street advisory firm focusing on "help(ing) companies, organizations, governments and institutions prepare for, mitigate against and take advantage of change." Whatever the fuck that means. When people talk about the "Deep State," these are the kind of folks they're talking about. A huge body of career bureaucrats, answerable only to their fellow bureaucrats. They make buckets of money, and provide vanishingly little in return. As time goes on and their numbers increase, they only get more and more out of touch with the day to day lives or ordinary Americans.
