I’d suggest going back and rereading history with a more open mind to the truth. Overwhelming secular humanism in the modern West is why we’re where we are currently and their intent is to eliminate Christianity and welcome in the current gender confusion and all the other alphabet nonsense. Just because humans are fallen creatures prone to sin, doesn’t mean Christianity is wrong or has caused any of the examples you threw out. And without it, I shudder to think where the world would be. I recognize terrible things have been and are still done in the name of Christianity, but adherence to Christianity caused the Western world to grant rights to women and see them as equal partners with men, finally free the slaves (way later than it should have happened), recognize the inherent dignity of each person, value human life, value the nuclear family, value classical education (schools in NA were all founded by Christians), value individual liberty and freedom from oppression, etc etc.6 points

Gents, stop feeding the trolls. The individuals you’re trying to engage with have shown time and again they’re not interested in having a good faith argument. They find spouting some drivel about Christianity they picked up on reddit as their form of “owning the conservatives.” They’re just as intolerant as the caricatures of religious bigotry that they rail against.3 points

Of note, President Biden literally shares a bank account with his crackhead son. The corruption of the Biden crime family is better documented than any of the accusations thrown at Trump. It is plain as day to anyone with eyes exactly why he is soft on China.3 points

After months of dragging their feet the Treasury Department FINALLY gave the House Oversight Committee access to suspicious activity reports generated by the department on transaction within the Biden family. It has come to light that SIX additional Biden family members were paid many millions of dollars by Chinese and Russian firms.3 points

The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation lays out the order in this world and in God’s design (even the relationship between Christ and the Church is illustrated by the bridegroom and the bride). The whole Bible unapologetically claims the only sexual relationship that is within Gods will/plan is between a husband and wife. Anything sexual outside of that is sin. You’d have to ignore the whole Canon of scripture to believe that homosexual activity is not sinful. As far as that research, pew research also showed that more than 50% of claimed Christians in America also claim to believe that casual sex is not sinful. Almost 25% also claimed that Christ’s death and resurrection are not necessary for reconciliation with God the Father (salvation). There’s a ton of secular Protestants and Catholics who claim the label of Christian but don’t actually believe in Biblical Christianity. Only God knows their heart, but denying necessary Christian beliefs and claiming Christianity seems suspect. I acknowledge we’re all hypocrites too often, but disbelief in essential doctrine is more than hypocrisy. https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/08/31/half-of-u-s-christians-say-casual-sex-between-consenting-adults-is-sometimes-or-always-acceptable/3 points

Honestly.. kinda yeah. If you live in a western 1st world country and your views are 60-90% as regressive as Islamic extremists in the third world.. you might have a problem. Born in a slightly different time/place LU fundamentalists are exactly the type of people who would have conducted jihads/crusades over their religious dogma. Christians throughout history have leveraged intolerance to justify violence, just like Islamic extremists do. The Bible is every bit as brutal as the Quran. Only recently after centuries of moderation due mainly to renaissance humanists, have Christians in the western 1st world figured out that bigoted violence isn't okay. Just in time for them to get on their high horse about it. But the intolerance never went away, the violence was just moderated.. from mostly external sources. Religious extremism is the same intolerant mentality whether you find it in Afghanistan or rural Virginia. It just presents differently when it's filtered through local cultural norms.1 point

You have to strike a difference between what fallible humans believe and what they know their religion believes or teaches for your argument to be sound. To not do so is disingenuous.1 point

Words matter. The original quote was 'Christians believe gay marriage is a sin' and the poll you quoted asks if gay marriage should be legal. I would imagine that a large percentage of Christians believe both to be true. I'll give you an easier example: I believe it is a sin to not worship God. I do not think it should be illegal in America to not worship God. They are not mutually exclusive.1 point

Swing and a miss pal. You intentionally brought up Liberty University and then used Muslim “extremists” as a comparison.1 point

If AFRC, HQ AFRC centrally assigns pipeline students without sponsoring units, or those who lose sponsorship due to performance threshold issues. Of course there is conference with both losing and gaining units along with AD training squadron leadership for truth data, but ultimately an MDR is needs of the Air Force Reserve. The AD sq/cc are consulted, but ultimately have no vote on the ADCON unit re-assignment of AFRC or ANG pipeline students. ANG students are also managed by AFRC (340th FTG) while undergoing UPT, but any re-assignment process ultimately falls on the NGB and the willy wonka rabbit hole that is the title 32 world. Not even AFRC, who functionally manages them for the duration of their tenure in AETC, has control of that. Training allocations are paid for by the NGB or AFRC, thence there is no circumstance under which an ARC pipeline student would lose their spot in a T-38 track because there's not enough "slots in a class". AD funding of their training allocations do not cross streams with ARC. AFRC and ANG students are in that regard, not on AD's training timeline.1 point

Seriously. I just heard from the bobs at my AFRC unit that the people on high have directed that anyone coming from AD to our unit who is current and qualified will be gained as an overage without hurting our manning/hiring numbers. Our unit is healthy, but big blue is bleeding pilots so badly they have to dictate such measures. In other news, this is my last day in the AF. Thank God.1 point

Whether you believe it or not, people like Joe Biden are the mainstream of the party and have been for a while. More liberal in many ways than in the past, even Clinton 90s past, but parties change and evolve all the time. More conservative in other ways than, say, FDR or LBJ. The GOP has certainly changed quite a bit in my lifetime, especially in the last ~10 years from Romney/Ryan 2012 to MAGA & Trump today. There’s a very broad swath of ideology between those two camps just within the Republican Party! There is a large part of the Dem party to the left of Biden, like Bernie et al, and there are some to the right like Manchin, Eric Adams, etc. It also varies by issue and region and there’s not a smooth alignment of ideology or policy along any one axis as I’m sure you know. You don’t have to like it or agree with current admin policies, but calling Biden a radical is not a winning strategy and not believable to the American public. In fact, it’s such a bad strategy that I really hope all my Republicans friends go for it full bore!1 point

The downside is that the income limits to a Roth IRA are $153,000 MAGI if you are single and $228,000 MAGI if you are married, so that will only go so far, especially if your spouse works, but it is better than nothing. That would be $255,700 before your standard deduction. That is why having the Roth 401k is such a great deal. No income limits. The tricky part is figuring out which investments are best suited for each of your accounts. That's what I am trying to figure out right now - how to build an index fund/ETF portfolio that takes advantage of both my taxed and non-taxed retirement accounts. There are a trazillion different funds to play with. Sent from my SM-F721U using Tapatalk1 point
