  1. This wild "leftist" is actually pushing the candidate consistently more conservative than trump on actual issues. Except we all know the issues don't matter to trumpists. But tell yourself whatever you need to, buddy. Keep practicing the coping strategies. They'll come in handy Nov 7th 2024 when trumps pathetic cult of personality loses the right another election.

  2. Jesus Christ, so much "but her emails" copium in this thread right now. Not a lot of solutions. Here's a wild idea, although it makes too much sense for republicans to actually try it: Let trump go down in flames. Just let him go. If you think this is a big unfair liberal witch hunt or at the very least a terrible double standard, thats the fastest way to fix it. Take this opportunity to divorce yourself from the un-electable clown and get a frontrunner who can actually win. Then when you win in 2024, you can indict Hillary and Hunter and Biden and Kamala and Dylan Mulvaney and Whoopie Goldberg and whoever else you want. This is a massive F-big opportunity for republicans, but they're so blinded by "ITS NOT FAIR" they won't even be able to capitalize. The fastest way to right past wrongs is to get power back and the fastest way to get power back is to dump the criminal lunatic who alienated more people than have ever voted in history into choosing the senile houseplant. We've been over this in this thread before. Why is the mainstream media running near-constant hit pieces on Desantis even though he trails trump in every poll? Why is trump exclusively targeting Desantis? Say it with me all together now: Because. He's. The. Candidate. They're. Actually. Worried. About.

  4. If a prosecutor believes they have a case against Hunter Biden, they should go for it! Seriously! I have never understood the idea that those of us in the left love Hunter Biden and are somehow seeking to protect him 🤷‍♂️ IDGAF about that guy, he seems like a dirtbag, and I would never ever vote for him to hold public office. As far as Trump “not being allowed to participate” lolol ok. He ran for President twice already and WAS President for 4 years despite many, many scandals & criminal/legal allegations that would have sunk any “normal” person 10x over. Don’t do crimes if you want to be President, that doesn’t seem like too much to ask. The fact that he is in such a high-profile position and Jack Smith and the FL grand jury decided to charge him anyways is telling. I guarantee if he had cooperated and given back the documents (like Pence and Biden), he would have gotten that much-derided elite pass too, and people on the left would be all mad about how he slipped his way past accountability once again.

  5. Have you not read any of the reports and investigations. POTUS can't (and shouldn't), force those efforts...especially when lower levels in the system conceal the evidence. At numerous levels the FBI was ACTIVELY working against Trump and they covered up evidence. I get it, they didn't like him, I don't either but they let that bleed over and crush their ethics. Again...the FBI FALSIFIED FISA warrants...they KNEW the dossier was fake and didn't tell anyone...they had a copy of the laptop and helped promote a narrative that the story was false...and they had the memo on Biden but none of that made it to Wray and Barr. The first three items are all facts...are you cool that they suppressed these items? Dude at the end of the day I want Trump to go away and if the latest deal takes him out of play...cool beans, but there is some serious rot in the FBI and it helped sway an impeachment, an election and it is potentially covering for a corrupt POTUS.

  6. This is correct. Also: After reading through the actual indictment, Trump is very stupid.

  7. The person with the most votes does win. The most electoral votes. Everybody knows the rules, it’s not a surprise, and they should campaign in light of the system. Otherwise Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York would decide every election. And in that case, eventually states in the rest of the country would ask “Why are we in this union?” And then the USA would fall apart. The founding fathers thought of this, and developed the electoral college accordingly. In another thread, you asked a profound question: “why can’t Republicans convince voters in major metropolitan areas to support them?” I’ve been thinking on it, although I’m not ready to answer yet. But it’s a great question and it would be fun to discuss over bourbon sometime. However in this context I will turn it around on you: why can’t Democrats convince voters in middle America or rural areas to support their policies? That’s the only reason they want to divest the electoral college; it challenges their grasp on National offices. You say it’s an anachronism, but I find it fundamental to national cohesiveness.

  8. This is what they hand waiver repeatedly...nothing to see here in their Liberal retain power lust. Most of the reasonable folks on this forum have repeatedly said Trump is a douche and we want him to go away. The other side can't manifest the intellectual honesty to look at everything that has happened and acknowledge there is at least something worth investigating. Biden is a mentally defunct criminal, but they will happily vote for him again...IMHO just as bad as the base that still supports Trump.

  10. WTF dude? You’ve got a lib on the forum and you feel that you can place all of your angst about what you think liberals represent on me? You don’t know me. GTFO with your assumptions. Here’s a tip for you: don’t debate individuals as if they represent the entirety of positions you don’t like. Individual human beings are nuanced and complex, with wide ranging viewpoints on various topics. If you knew me at all, you’d know I don’t hate anyone. Hopefully someday you’ll realize you can’t fix the world with your head all the way up your ass (said with love).

  11. But NSPlayer said we can just charge the political class with crimes whenever it’s appropriate. After all you guys are only holding Trump to a standard right? Granted it’s not a standers you’ll hold your own side too, but that doesn’t matter right? What matters is you win the next election, and that’s all this is really about. 12. “All you’ve gotta do to hold people accountable is take power.” Gee is that it. Well shit let’s just get right on it. Thanks you for admitting what most in the Democratic Party won’t, that they simply will not and cannot allow accountability of any of their sacred cows and will only promise compliance when they aren’t in power. Hey guys you hear that, it’s not that there isn’t a blatant protection scheme being run by the party in power to bury its skeletons in a bolt locked closet, it’s just following the rules for accountability. You can only be accountable when the opposite power is in charge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. I’m just laughing how Hillary Clinton still lives rent free in so many heads. Screw her, she’s gone and never holding office of any kind ever again! If you wanna charge her and are able to do so, be my guest! Meanwhile right now the leading contender for the GOP nomination just got indicted for 38 felony counts and is on tape basically saying he did exactly what he is charged with! The best time to start doing the right thing was the day you were born, the second best time is right freaking now. Trump’s actions are not defendable, are inexplicable for any legitimate purpose, and IMHO are pretty clearly criminal. Regardless of what happened in the past, which we cannot change, we should move forward with appropriate justice. If anyone on the right is big mad today and then at some point in the future is able to convene a grand jury to charge a Democratic Party leader, staffer, etc. for crimes this egregious, I will say it again in non-meme form: your terms are acceptable. No one is above the law.

  17. Ah there it is. The single most dangerous word in use in America today. You got the fairness part right, but there is nothing about Justice that has to be equitable. In fact there has been nothing in the founding of this country that has desired or guaranteed “equitable” outcomes. The left really struck a home run when they realized how easily equitable could be transposed for equality and use it to confuse the masses on what we should be striving for. Btw, here’s Cornell’s definition of justice. “Justice is the ethical, philosophical idea that people are to be treated impartially, fairly, properly, and reasonably by the law and by arbiters of the law, that laws are to ensure that no harm befalls another, and that, where harm is alleged, a remedial action is taken - both the accuser and the accused receive a morally right consequence merited by their actions.” The rest of your post is idiocy honestly. Cops killing anyone they want and eradicating LGBTQ people? Could you be more of a caricature of super leftest speak?

  18. It was a little harder getting ATIS in the Huey single pilot. We were so slow, it'd change several times from the time I was 7 miles out to touch down. So much ATIS. I have nightmares about it.

  20. But you're wrong. The close trail parameters are identical in the T-6: 1-2 ship lengths, slightly below. And I have been that "close" aplenty in the T-6 as in the T-38, as an IP on both.

  21. ooh story time. So barrel rolls are not considered over-the-top maneuvering proper. As @LookieRookie highlighted already, barrel rolls in c-trail are common and, generally a non-event. That said, I have seen weaksauce IPs pork one for the record books. So there I was.... ...I'm -2, lead is running us through the dog and pony show, my student is flying it for proficiency block. Next thing I know, lead guy damn near puts me lost wingman approaching IMC 40 degrees NL and 420 bills at one ship length. I saw the upset early, broke out right above the cloud base and KIO barely avoiding the goo. It was all asses and elbows. Since I floor saved, I figured I'd be higher than him, so I was looking for him to come out the goo mid level to slightly lower than me. haha nope. Fucker came out on the top side of that cloud at like 50 NH like an Atlas V. These two cosmonauts were straight up passengers at that point, heading to low earth orbit as far I could surmise. The irony of Houston Center being our controlling agency did not escape me one bit at that very moment lol. Back on the ground, I assumed this was boilerplate proficiency block student shenanigans (typical "it's been a minute since I led one of these sir"). So I was ready to tear his student a new one on the ground. But then coo coo bird IP copped in the bar pre-debrief that he was in fact the one on the controls demo'ing it for the student when the wholesale pork antics ensue. So yeah, barrel rolls in close trail can get spicy. Occupational hazard of this pilot fOrGiNg biznazz. 😄

  22. Good luck with that. With the current syllabus we have about 25 hours of trans/nav, and some can barely land the plane. 25 hours of form/AD/AR with MIF as a fair. Where in there are we supposed to teach all your “advanced” training that isn’t even relevant to everyone? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Why don't people speak up? I don't have an E-9 in the squadron. But when our Senior starts acting like a Chief, I damn sure speak up utilizing a respectful tone. No rank should be exempt from a STFU moment, especially when an idea is pure garbage. As a prior, I feel the need to say something because as you gentlemen have noted some E-9s are on Gilligan's Island and there is no Ginger or Mary Ann in sight. When a SNCO is being dismissive (going old school) of great ideas during a meeting, they are suffering from spatial disorientation and you need to talk them back onto their instruments. If your CC will not speak up, please say something, but always do it with respect. Good Chiefs will understand and I want to think some of them still exist.

  24. The only outcome I can fathom is a civil war. I will give my life to not have nsplayer's congressional leadership to allow men into my daughter's bathroom. That is a fight worth fighting, and it is becoming more and more of a fight that needs to happen.

  25. I saw a down vote by disco nav. I can only surmise by the picture that the thing posted as its avatar is that it is a wso on the B-1. I don't really care about downvotes or whatever else you tards do on this forum. But I will point out, having piloted the B-1, is that wso's were worthless. I wasn't a wso, I was a pilot. Before that I flew A-10s. So when a disco nav has anything to say about anything, here's the skinny...you weren't good enough to make it through pilot training. That's why you are a nav. Good luck at christmas.

  26. Yes. I truly wish Kerry would have barely won Ohio in 2004, thus giving him the presidency while losing the popular vote. Both parties would have ditched the thing straight away. It’s a vestigial anachronism that modern America no longer needs. The person with the most votes should win, period, just like in literally every other election we hold.
