(Most) people will live up to, or down to, the generally accepted standards set for them. If it is someone's personal policy to accept people how they are with no qualifications, they effectively have no standards or expectations. Do you not have any measures of acceptable behavior for the people you surround yourself with? If a person is willing to tolerate absolutely anything, their opinion is literally of no consequence, and they render themselves an ineffectual. Ineffectuals are currently being railroaded. "Give an inch, they take a mile". I would agree that people should be free to make any decision for themselves that does not adversely affect others. But I need not condone or endorse it nor should I be censored for speaking against it. Granting an advantage to someone on the basis of gender identity adversely effects those who aren't obsessed with this latest trend. And one would have to be blind to not see the physical harm being done to young people, and the indescribable harm that is to come to them should society as whole continue accept anyone "as they are".

If you’re still waiting to find out if you made O-4, try registering for ACSC by correspondence. A few years ago I used that trick to find out early that I made O-5 with AWC (Although registering is as far as I went with that! 🍺) Apparently Air University gets the list even before Senior Raters. At least they used to, they might’ve fixed the glitch by now though.

Dude, excellent questions. I don't think we can begin moves towards international accountability until we resolve it domestically. And that's purely pragmatic; without cohesive domestic unity we'd be unable to prosecute any international strategy. I am ready to forgive a lot of people provided they apologize for their egregious anti-American and anti-freedom behavior. Many people, even those on this board, were simply dumb, fearful and overly trusting of authority. They should be ashamed, but they should not be punished so long as they recognize and apologize for their errors. However, for the top tier of decision makers there absolutely must be ruthless accountability. Fauci, Collins and many media/political personalities need to be confronted and dealt with to solidify internal unity required to seek holding China itself accountable.

It was a little harder getting ATIS in the Huey single pilot. We were so slow, it'd change several times from the time I was 7 miles out to touch down. So much ATIS. I have nightmares about it.

I’d say that validates his point. In my opinion, something like form landings in UPT seem less about necessity out in the CAF than it was about teaching precision. That precision transfers over to other aspects of flying, especially when it becomes almost second nature. Do you absolutely need to learn form landings? No, but if it’s not flown it should be replaced with something that also demands a high degree of precision.
