  1. You sound unhinged and you are most certainly all over the intellectual honesty map. I as a conservative do not agree, support or condone MTG's actions...at all. That being said her actions do not wipe the slate clean on the Hunter investigation. You are trying to insinuate everyone is laser focused with an obsession on Hunter when the real issue is did Joe through Hunter commit a crime. You have repeatedly referred to the "evidence" so lets baseline a few issues of fact, please tell me what is not true. In my opinion all of these facts tie together and paint a much bigger picture that calls for an investigation. 1. The Trump Dossier was fake. 2. Hillary Clinton paid for the Trump Dossier. 3. The FBI Knew the Dossier was fake and that Hillary paid for it. 4. The FBI used the Dossier as a basis to pursue FISA warrants on folks in the Trump administration. 5. The Hunter laptop was real. 6. The FBI knew the Hunter laptop was real AND had a copy of it. 7. The FBI sat quietly while Secretary Blinken orchestrated a memo signed by 51 "Intel Professionals" who labeled the Hunter laptop as Russian disinformation. 8. Big tech used that memo as rational to suppress the Hunter Laptop story during the election. 9. The Hunter laptop has a lot of circumstantial evidence that says Hunter promised foreign policy favors from his father in exchange for cash. Notice I said "Hunter" promised, not Joe. 10. As of yesterday the House Judiciary Committee has thoroughly tracked approximately $17M in transactions from overseas donors including China, that went to over 20 shell companies and ended up in the bank accounts of many Biden family members...including his grandchildren. 11. At least one of the Chinese donors has direct ties to the Chinese Communist Party. 12. 150 of those transactions were flagged by U.S. banks in SARs filed with the U.S. Department of the Treasury. 13. The $17M identified by the House Judiciary Committee is from one bank, they are working through the records and flagged transactions at six more banks. There is at least one report that says the total is $100M. 14. The FBI has been approached by multiple sources that say the pay for play scheme is real. 15. The FBI tried to suppress a 2020 unclassified FD-1023 that outlines the pay for play scheme. 16. Tony Bobulinski came forward and gave multiple interviews saying her personally met with Joe Biden. Biden denies that meeting, someone is lying. 17. In 2021, Hunter Biden repaid more than $2 million in past-due taxes after receiving a loan from one of his private attorneys. 18. One of the reasons Hunter owed unpaid taxes is because tried to deduct sex club membership and prostitutes by classifying them as business expense. 19. The purchase of a weapon by Hunter Biden while using drugs was a felony. 20. IRS Whislteblower Joseph Zielger alleges investigators AND assigned attorneys, which included DOJ tax attorneys, all agreed to felony tax evasion charges and misdemeanor charges related to Hunter Biden's 2017, 2018 and 2019 returns. 21. IRS Whislteblowers testified DOJ attorneys stopped the IRS investigators from seeking a warrant for Hunter Biden's Virginia storage unit then notified Hunter's Defense Lawyers that the government wanted to search the unit. 22. David Weiss wrote a official letter stating that he has “ultimate authority” to bring charges against Hunter Biden in any jurisdiction, and he said Friday that this is still the case. 23. IRS Whistleblower Gary Shapley testified he was in a meeting with David Weiss and Weiss told him that he was not the deciding person in whether or not charges were filed. "He told us that D.C. U.S. Attorney had declined to allow charges, he told us that he had requested special counsel authority from Main DOJ.” Rep. Jordan: “And was denied?” Mr. Shapley: “That's correct.” 24. Gary Shapley captured the meeting in a memo which was endorsed by his supervisor who was also in the meeting. Either Weiss or both Mr Shapley and his supervisor are lying. In most neutral investigations the above facts would at least raise the possibility that something illegal happened. If there is even a 1% chance the President committed a crime shouldn't we look? I think we have a right to know and when you look at the situation in totality and have questions, that doesn't make you a nutjob conspiracy theorist. It is way past time for a special prosecutor.

  2. This stuff is definitely maddening, but it’s easy to make the big things the boogeyman while ignoring the small issues. Plenty of local BS at the squadron level that gets ignored by leaders clamoring about how bad CSAF-level decision are. Control what you can control. For those still in, we aren’t about to fix Pentagon-level crap. Look around your squadron, take a look in the mirror, and go fix some shit. Plenty of people in your charge are depending on it.

  6. Oh no! Mind if I ask how old you are? It seems you are either very young, or stumbled through life without learning how to write in a way that doesn't make you look stilted and awkward. We're not going to meet, so you should stop trying to imagine it. An assurance of authority is not authority. It's a cop out. He's using technicalities to shirk his duties. I don't think you understand how the legal process works. Do you think a person must be guilty before being charged? There is a compendium of evidence (see the link I posted in the first page of this thread to the complete contents of his laptop) that he committed crimes. MTG presented some of that evidence. It was pretty shocking, but what do you do when you, as a legislative body, pass laws that are not enforced by the judiciary? There is enough probable cause and evidence to indict by any reasonable standard, but it hasn't happened because the process has become political, and two-tiered. You certainly wouldn't be given the same treatment should your laptop be investigated. I have never once used the word guilty. You did. As for the rest... lol. I realize there is no nudity for you to get worked up over in the documents that were released today, but if you can read better than you can write, you may find something even more shocking:

  7. Dude, the reason the few of you "moved on with" your lives instead of talking about that absolute fiasco after the fact, is because you were dead ing wrong after screaming at the top of your lungs of how righteous you were. Instead of admitting that your side was full of arrogant charlatans and trying to figure out how to ensure such a up doesn't occur in the near future, you high-tailed as fast as possible to save face. You deserve to be "dunked" on. A lot. It was a massive stain on modern society with long-lasting detrimental 1st and 2nd order effects. Also, are these dubious press outfits (who latch onto reports that further excoriate the people who demanded others get the vaccine) somehow worse than the ones who went off 24/7 for nearly 2 years about how the world was basically ending and everyone needed to trust the science? 8. He succeeded? Who succeeded? John McCain launched the invasion of Crimea? Shit, I’ve never been a fan of John McCain, but that’s impressive for that old codger, god rest his soul. Who knew he was so high up in the Putin regime! Explain to me what is controversial about that video, or proves there was some conspiracy to start a war in Ukraine? Anyone with access to intel at the time could have told you that as Putin lost grip through his Ukraine puppet government he was interested in reasserting control and specifically maintaining a Russian Navy presence at the port in Sevastopol. Nearly everything that was predicted ended up happening to a T; not because there was some deep state conspiracy to fight Russia in Ukraine, but because the Putin playbook has been open and known for quite awhile now. For god sakes, the man invaded Georgia under relatively similar circumstances in 2008.

  17. Outside of the military where orders come with the territory (and if you're not willing to subject yourself to them, get out), I have absolutely never been ordered to take a vaccine of any kind in my entire life. Neither have you or anyone else on this forum. The relevance of statistics is this: go to the COVID-19 thread and review all 150+ pages of posts. If you'd like to focus the review, check out that last few where there's nobody left but the militant anti-vaxxers that wrapped their identities in this issue (because everybody else moved on with their life 2.5 years ago). In the remaining echo chamber there's been a lot of 'dunking' going on by posting articles of anti-vax talking points with the insinuation that they've all been proven true. Never mind the dubious 'studies' that lend credence to the point being made. Never mind the dubious 'press' outfits latching on to them. I'll grant, for the sake of this argument, that every single one of them is accurate. The one thing you will never see is a rundown of comparative risk, because it blows any supposition they're trying to make out of the water. COVID vaccine is killing people via myocarditis? Cool, I'll grant it (for the discussion) despite all the problems with the statement. But at what relative rate is COVID vaccine killing people via myocarditis when compared to the rate of reduction in COVID complications? And yes, even in young, fit, healthy people (i.e. comparable to the military demographic). Not one time in 150 pages will you see an example of this science 101 question being addressed. Because it absolutely destroys the supposition of COVID vaccine harm of all types. I don't care about your fictional nephew whose anecdote you use of going complete retard after the vaccine to bolster your point (there were a staggering number of these shared on Baseops, you might say a probabilistically impossible number of them). At the national health level, individual cases don't matter. It's greatest good for the greatest number, and there is no reasonable alternative approach. For those of you who have a soil-your-pants level of fear over having the vaccine administered, I'll grant it legitimacy (again for the discussion). But you cannot logically also not have an explosive-diarrhea-pants-soiling-in-public fear of the consequences of not being vaccinated. Probability and statistics makes it undeniable. That's the relevance. But let's be honest, you're not interested in an honest approach. And just for the record, you shouldn't have a pants-shitting fear of the vaccine or not getting vaccinated. The relative risk of either is inconsequential when compared to other things you do on a daily basis. *BUT* you can not logically fear of one and not the other. You're referencing what 'extremists' do and think it invalidates my point? Maybe you should re-read what I said.

  20. I was looking at a map today depicting Russian and Ukrainian held territory. I’d like to calculate the number of square miles or kilometers, lost by Russia and recovered by Ukraine, per 1 Billion Dollars. I think it would be an interesting number. Anyone have any ideas? Here’s an article Putin somehow snuck into a notable Western media outlet. It’s worth a scan: Since Putin’s tanks crossed into Ukrainian territory last year, three options have been on the table for how this war would end: victory for one side or the other, a frozen conflict or a negotiated settlement. The public comments made this week by Oleksiy Arestovych, a former advisor to Volodymyr Zelensky’s chief of staff, appear to indicate the last may be more likely than previously thought. Arestovych raised the prospect of Ukraine making territorial concessions in return for the rest of the country receiving the most cast-iron security guarantee there is: Nato membership. These comments have proved highly controversial. Not only would such an outcome be unpalatable to many in Kyiv and other European capitals, raising it as a possibility highlights a growing uncertainty about the long-term sustainability of the war – particularly amongst Ukraine’s western backers. Arestovych’s suggestion comes at a crucial time. The long-planned counter-offensive, now in its second month, has run into several problems – not least that Kyiv is still waiting for approximately half of the western military equipment promised earlier in the year. Meanwhile, its forces are under increasing pressure to commit its reserves as Russian troops – despite reports of low morale across the front – remain dug-in, seemingly committed to defending every inch of Ukrainian ground captured since last year. As Russian minefields take their toll on western-supplied tanks and Ukrainian sappers, their forces have so-far retaken approximately five miles of the sixty miles they need to split the land-bridge connecting Russia to Crimea. The land between Mariupol in the east and Melitopol to the west is seen as the vital ground to achieving this. It is incredibly tough going for the Ukrainians. They lack the air cover and advanced jets to protect their ground forces from Russian attack helicopters and fighters. Their soldiers, meanwhile must negotiate miles of minefields, tank-traps and then ultimately the heavily dug Russian trench networks. This gruelling endeavour was always going to take longer than the occasionally impatient international audience was prepared to wait for. It is a military effort of immense proportions, where mass, manpower, morale, equipment, stocks, logistics, grit and luck all play vital roles. So far, the Ukrainians are displaying all of these military qualities. The variable that isn’t on their side is time. In war, time is perhaps the cruellest factor one cannot change. We saw this in NATO’s operation in Afghanistan, where the Taliban took great delight in the retelling of a famous Afghan proverb; ”you may have the watches, but we have the time”. Summer will soon begin to roll into autumn. Indeed, we are already half-way through the season. The fighting will begin to grind to a cold halt as the freezing winter saps troops’ ability to conduct high-intensity warfare. This will only give Russia more time to further build up its defences, as it did last winter. By this point in the West, meanwhile, all eyes will be on the upcoming US election, with more political attention diverted by the UK’s general election. Kyiv knows it has a shortened window of opportunity to capitalise on its battlefield initiative and take back as much ground as it can. If Kyiv fails in its battlefield endeavours to split that land bridge, and retake much of its own territory by winter, then vocal calls of territorial concessions for marginal political outcomes will likely become far more prevalent – not just in Ukraine but likely from western capitals, as so-called “war-fatigue” begins to bite, international stockpiles of equipment and ammunition wither and politicians begin to worry about domestic budgets ahead of national elections. While much fighting remains to be done across Ukraine’s southern farmlands over the coming months, governments across the west must be prepared for the grim prospect of territorial concessions as one potential political outcome of a failed counter-offensive. Whether a Putinist Kremlin would respect such a deal if Kyiv were to receive security pledges short of full Nato membership is extremely doubtful. Regardless, this would surely be a favoured outcome for China’s ruling “wolf warrior” foreign policy elite. Beijing would be utterly delighted if the war were to end with Ukraine divided, Russian troops permanently in the Donbas harassing Kyiv and Europe, and Nato fractured on political lines. Such an outcome would be a gift to China as Xi Jinping begins to ramp up his own imperialistic and extra-territorial ambitions across the Indo-Pacific – and a devastating defeat for the West.

  21. Getting back to Hunter Biden, how interesting that the night before the House Oversight Committee conducts interviews about the Hunter Biden Laptop and other issues, the FBI General Counsel sends a memo to FBI agent leading the investigation saying "don't answer questions". Nothing to see here, just weirdo fringe bullshit, no lack of transparency...

  22. It was a bit closer to the latter than most would like to admit. It was NOT just military members, Biden's directives (White House Policy Announcement), attempted to force (or lose your job and livelihood), 2/3 of the U.S. Population to get vaccinated: 1. All government civilian employees. 2. All employees of any company that had a government contract. 3. All health care workers at facilities participating in Medicare and Medicaid. 4. Via OSHA, ALL employees of companies that have more than 100 employees.

  23. You think it's hyperbole to say a forced vaccination campaign existed, yet you and I (along with millions of others) were both ordered to take the vaccine without proof it worked, at threat to our employment, and which data now shows was ineffective at preventing transmission. Then you say I should go to school, because presumably they can teach me statistics (although you don't elaborate on the relevance), and because school exists you won't engage in debate. Although you are engaged in debate... I hope you aren't like this in real life.

  27. Lol, because photos of Hunter Biden having sex is evidence of a crime. Show me the direct linkage. Find the alleged prostitute and have her testify. Show me some real evidence that proves "beyond a reasonable doubt" of Hunter Biden's crimes. These photos certainly don't prove "beyond a reasonable doubt." The photos are just a pathetic far right Republican nut job shock tactic that absolutely obliterates the decency of the US Congress.

  28. Lol, so a Trump appointed U.S. attorney (Weiss) decided not to bring violation of the Mann Act charges against Hunter Biden, even with these two whistleblowers and all of this "damning" evidence against Hunter Biden? You live in an absolute fantasy land of conspiracies. I'd be willing to take all of this back if you show me the PROOF of these whistleblower's claims. Something tells me that will not be the case. Until you show me the proof (not just nudes and two whistleblowers gabbing it up), this is just one of a million far right conspiracy theories.

  29. That is 100% false. Weiss himself said that he had full authority, see the following articles: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/07/10/us/politics/david-weiss-hunter-biden-irs.html https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/hunter-biden-prosecutor-weiss-contradicts-irs-whistleblower-rcna93509 https://abcnews.go.com/US/us-attorney-david-weiss-asked-special-counsel-status/story?id=101009886 https://www.cbsnews.com/news/delaware-us-attorney-hunter-biden-justice-department-authority/ https://nypost.com/2023/07/10/hunter-biden-prosecutor-denies-requesting-special-counsel/ Anyway, it's worthless arguing about this anymore since neither of us will change our stance. But the burden is on you and your far right republican nut jobs to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Hunter Biden committed crimes beyond his plea deal. I'll return to my original premise: showing Hunter Biden's nudes in a US Congress hearing is a pathetic and disgusting shock tactic that is representative of the modern Republican Party.

  30. Oh no, he criticized one excerpt of my writing on a conservative, far right forum without ever seeing anything I have written professionally. I don’t treat this forum as a professional venue because it’s not. You are quick to judge without any sort of big picture…kind of like your opinions about Hunter Biden. I’m beyond glad we will never meet. I don’t give a flying about any of your insane far right conspiracy theories about Burisma. Again, you are just parroting the pundits and posting these documents where you scream “OMG, it’s the smoking gun”, when in reality it’s nothing. How many times have I seen such documents amount to absolutely nothing? It has to be at least 100 times. The claims in that document are unverified per the FBI, see below article: https://www.businessinsider.com/fbi-furious-grassley-released-document-unverified-claims-joe-hunter-biden-2023-7?amp You know what unverified means, right? To spell it out for you, it means there’s no proof. You can release a million documents that claim all sorts of things, but it means nothing without concrete evidence. It’s very similar to all of the fraudulent election claims the far right made. You know, the claims that didn’t turn up a single shred of evidence even after multiple investigations. Your primary counter argument to this will probably be “BuT wHaT aBoUT TrUmP anD ThE DeMs wHeN hE WAs PrESIDEnt?” I suggest you try something other than whataboutism. Republicans are the ones obsessed with Hunter Biden’s dick. How long have you been bringing his dick up? 5 years? Now you are showing the pictures publicly in Congress like a bunch of pathetic losers desperately trying to pin a crime on President Biden by using the mistakes of his troubled son. It’s time to move on and actually start focusing on some form of governance.

  31. How is it you don't understand what I was referring to when I said he succeeded? I wrote he was there to boost anti-government protestors and bring about a transition to an anti-Russian government, or... regime change. In that, he was successful because that is what happened. I know you're just trying to take a jab, but you're reaching a little there. 😀 "There is no doubt that Ukraine is of vital importance to Putin." "The beginning of Russia was right here in Kiev, so Putin views it as highly important." Are you telling me McCain didn't know he was stirring up a hornet's nest? I'm not excusing Russia invading Crimea or Ukraine. But it was obvious that if we "supported" yet another regime change, Putin was going to react. Do you think McCain thought nothing would happen? I'm tired of helping with regime changes. What's our foreign government body count in the last 20-30 years? Which ones went on to become beacons of Democracy? How is Ukraine doing on that front? You do realize Zalensky suspended Ukrainian elections. So what's the f'n point? I want America to be the best and most admired nation on the planet. But I want it to be done the right way, with democracy, integrity, hard work, productivity, and fair dealing. We're slipping into a situation where we no longer on relying on those things to be king of the hill, but bribery, meddling, provocation, and intimidation. What happens when we can no longer purchase or coerce friendship? As evidenced by the growing waiting list of countries appealing to join BRICS, tolerating US foreign policy is no longer worth the US dollars being received by many. "Yeah, but they're shitholes no one cares about." Case in point. I'm not disparaging America as a whole, but our government has been corrupted. Their actions reflect such, especially this one. I'll mention this again: How can you applaud an escalation toward war when the very same people doing the actual escalating have a track record of failures (AFG), dirty dealings, and corruption? How many threads do we have here on this forum lamenting the state of our leadership? But somehow, on this one issue, these clowns suddenly become chivalrous and noble? If Russia is your enemy, why are you paying someone else to fight them? There is nothing noble in instigating the toppling a government then prodding (forcing) 10s (100s?) of thousands of your allied Ukrainian "friends" to march straight into the meat grinder that results while pretending to be shocked and indignant from the other side of the planet. We're still trying to expand an empire on a rotting foundation. Again: we have a long list of threads here more or less unanimously testifying to such. Economically, Politically, Socially, and Militarily. This doesn't end well for the United States. It should be obvious to anyone willing to set aside their biases and take an objective look. I'm trying to not be overly confrontational on this, but I'm not arguing for sport, either. I understand your convictions because I also had them. I don't change my mind easily, but I did on this issue because as I tried to sift through the BS and sort out the facts, the story of how our government currently operates kept conflicting with my personal values and belief so often that I could no longer reconcile it. I want to fix America, not Ukraine.

  32. You highlighted the applicable parts for me. He was assured he had full authority. What else do you want him to say? There’s nothing that would change your mind at this point about the innocence of Hunter Biden. He is guilty in your mind no matter what I say and you are just spouting the talking points you get from your pundits/podcasts/whatever far right media you ravenously consume like a brainwashed far right lemming. It’s not just my opinion, but that doesn’t matter to you either. You support MTG and her actions. Your grievances that are supposedly based on the rule of the law haven’t even been charged. You are condemning a man who is innocent until proven guilty. That is a fact. I never claimed to be a family values guy, but your party sure has over and over. I’m just somebody who thinks showing nudes of the President’s son in Congress in an attempt to humiliate him and “own the Libs” is ing pathetic. If you don’t see that, then we won’t ever see eye to eye and if I ever met you in person I’d probably dislike you for being a brainwashed far right loon since it would probably be your personality.

  33. Lol, I am moderated indefinitely by HeloDude, so this will be my last post. I posted on this thread specifically to show the ridiculousness of this forum. Anybody with common decency who isn't part of the far right should disagree with MTG's shock tactics and disgusting behavior within the US Congress. The fact that none of the regulars on this forum will concede this point is indicative of the Republican Party's rapid ethical degradation. The Republican Party has death spiraled into a party that no longer represents true conservatism. The twisted version of conservatism that MTG, Boebert, Gaetz, Trump, and several others represent has nothing to do with traditional values and institutions. Republicans are electing people who rape, cheat, and perform actions in Congress that continue to erode the dignity of the US Government. Hunter Biden is not an elected official. He does not represent the Democratic Party in any official capacity, yet he has been the target of Republicans for five years. Even after he took a plea deal, Republicans continue to obsess over him. Republicans then celebrate the public display of his nude photos, and MTG even sent them via e-mail to her constituents. None of you see anything wrong with that? If someone is suspected of crimes (not even charged), then it is now OK to show their nude photos to the entire public within the US Congress and via e-mail? That type of worldview is insane. Republicans hate Hunter Biden so much they are gleeful when humiliating him over and over again. This is what "highly educated and highly trained professional pilots and navigators" like to see in their politics? If this forum is representative of U.S. Air Force rated officers, then I weep for the future of any diverse officers who find themselves under the command of a far right lunatic.
