  1. Correct. I forwarded to our resident AFSOC Stolen Valor hunter and he is on the case. Thus far there is no record of Robert or Roberta.

  2. You people should really do some historical research on this topic, just on this site. Same boring griping for a couple of generations now. The creative solution is to produce more pilots. Congress will not help with retention bonuses, so the AF has given up. The ramp to 1500 pilots per year IS the target. Younger squadrons IS the acceptable risk. Keep calling me a troll, but this is the model going forward. Embrace it and start working with those young pilots to get them up-to-speed faster. Do something productive in your unit instead of complaining on a website. The lack of “Service Berfore Self” on this website still floors me. If I ever find one of you in real life under one of my commands…

  3. People are mad about more than one thing - mandates, wasteful spending intended to buy votes, pushing a questionable vaccine and virtue signaling via mask/jab/lockdown/etc. You act like there can only be one chief complaint about the Covid overreaction - if people are complaining about C19 stimulus #3 then they can’t be mad about mask or vaccine mandates. They’re actually ALL problematic. Correct, this eventually became tribe warfare as one side aligned with mandates and printing money, the other with “conspiracy theories” and refusal follow guidelines…cuz ‘Murica! Thank our asshat politicians for the virtue signaling. I will say this - three years later, the arguments of one side aged disproportionately better. 2020 conspiracy theories (possibility of lab leak, questioning vaccine efficacy numbers, questioning vaccine side-effects) are now mainstream concerns. Belief that the vaccine would actually be 99% effective, claims that your shitty cloth alma mater mask actually did any good, pushing a booster shot every few months…yeah, those didn’t age well. Needless to say, they’re still the morons masking up outside or alone in their cars. We know who the lemmings are.

  4. I feel sorry for these stolen valor types. It’s a sad life to feel the need to find worth in a made up existence.

  5. You keep saying you're not an expert or well read in the conflict but you're sure talking a lot of Russian internal workings like you are?

  6. This is pretty normal lol. Go from fighters to helos for promotion. You guys should all know this good ole promotion trick. Its probably the best way to get O-6. We all know this. Especially, the SOF (not supervisor of flying ops but special ops fighter pilots) guys and in this case "girl". Edit: In all seriousness, the 11H community is kinda small in the world of big blue. We would be singing songs of praise for this "chick's" accomplishments, similar to that of Robin Olds. We kinda all know who crashed the Hueys, 60s, 53s, Mi17s, CVs and etc for the last 20 something years. Its too small of a world for a badass like this to go unnoticed. Must have been all those "classified" missions lol. Classified: make beleive.

  7. He's about as pro-Putin/Russia you can get as an American short of actually owing a dacha outside Moscow. Actually appeared on RT in 2014 defending Putin's seizure of the Donbas and Crimea. His talking points on Carlson's shows have been re-broadcast on RT. He's consistently argued that Ukraine is on the verge of defeat during the entire war. He further stated that Russia was "too gentle" in the opening phase of the invasion, something that the citizens of Bucha probably disagree with. I understand that there's people who don't support us helping Ukraine (for various reasons) but I truly can't understand how anyone outside of Russia can be supportive of Russia's actions during this war.

  8. But that would require intellectual honesty and a desire to solve the problem, neither of which are present here. Congress is no better than HAF DAF. You want to see the response I got last time I wrote my Congressman?

  10. "Although the USAF footed the bill for her education, Roberta’s degree did not come without a personal price. In exchange for a world class education, Roberta agreed to give the United States Air Force at least ten years of dedicated service. " My UPT commitment was only 8 years. I guess the AF really wanted their pound of flesh back in the day.

  12. In 2016 I reached out to Kristi Noem's office for help with a recalcitrant office not processing my separation in a timely fashion and got a complete resolution within 18 hours. It sounds like South Dakotans are electing people who aren't messing around.

  16. In fairness, I bet I'd get the same response if I asked my squadron full of Viper drivers what VNE is. The general aviation flyers would probably get it lol. But ya, that bloke looks like a Sheila!

  17. Decades of data isn't important? I was thinking earlier when speaking to my wife, Big Pharma may have won this one with regards to profits, but I think the skepticism that they have caused for a large portion of the population may cause them to lose in the long run unless aided by the government and CDC with regards to mandatory vaccinations for children to attend public school. For my daughter, five years old now born in 2018, I never questioned any of the vaccinations because I received all of mine and had no issues. I even thought those against vaccines were completely off base. During and post covid due to the forced vaccinations I started doing research, including The Real Anthony Fauci, which I highly recommend. I have a two month old son and am questioning some of the thought here by the official recommendations. For myself, born in 1984, I required DTP, OPV, MMR, and Td. That is four vaccines. Look at someone born in 2018 it is now 15 different vaccinations and 72 doses. The first, HepB is given at birth and was designed for homosexual men who were having intercourse to prevent the spread of the virus. Why does a newborn need that? Answer - In 1986 a law was passed giving vaccine manufacturers legal immunity. Don't you think that to be odd?

  18. That sucks about your Congressman @mcbush. The only time I ever reached out to mine (Sen Mike Rounds from South Dakota), I went to his website, followed the contact procedure, and had a staffer reach out to me by the end of the day. Problem was solved in 3 days. I was actually shocked at how well it went.

  19. He’s an old slime ball mixed with a terd that needs to be flushed or die. Lol. Whichever occurs first. There wasn’t even this much criminal evidence during the John Gotti trial and he went away. WTF America? He’s even worse than the Gambino crime family but he lacks one thing they had, honor among thieves. He has none.

  20. I get where you’re coming from and if circumstances surrounding the shot were different I would agree with your logic. However the conspiracy theorist isn’t encouraging me to give this shot to my pregnant wife. Whoever is (FDA, Pfizer, CDC, etc) should sell me on both necessity and safety. If you’re buying a car and someone tells you “that car is unreliable” the salesmen could reply “you prove it!” But you don’t have to buy the car unless you want to; if the salesman wants to make a sale he should probably convince you to buy it. To continue this analogy, in the crazy world of C19 vaccines the salesmen have convinced the government to force you buy it while also censoring true facts indicating the car is unreliable.

  21. Just because what took longer? The point is that those drugs had years and years of data behind them before they were forced on anyone. Decades in some cases. This was a vaccine with absolutely no data behind it, because it was invented in a matter of months before deployment, and the fucking thing didn't even work. Which should be all the proof that you need, because even if something isn't dangerous, you should not be forced to use it if it doesn't even do the thing you claim it does. To compare the covid vaccine mandate to other vaccine mandates is to be intentionally ignorant of the differences.

  23. I have no idea on retired Col Mcgregors pedigree, but he makes some interesting points. He thinks Russia’s military is stronger now, after more than a year of war in Ukraine than it’s been in over 30 years. Increased war production capability and renewed national resolve. Has our plan to weaken and undermine Russia backfired spectacularly? https://x.com/tuckercarlson/status/1693761723230990509?s=46

  24. You must have forgotten your morning coffee enema before that briefing. The slide I saw said 1500 Fighter pilots. That's in addition to the 1500 pilots for everywhere else. The studies and data have proven that this is possible through hot pits and shutting down only 1 engine for T-38 crew swaps on the 8 go days. A request for best practices from Delta will give us an idea on how to keep the Sims going 24/7. On a happy side note, they also briefed how they were able to reduce finance's hours of operations to 10-1300 with a 1.5 hour lunch by simply taking phones off the hook. Very productive days ahead guys!

  27. What would be nice is if we found the middle ground solution: support our interests abroad (e.g. help RUS crumble) while still prioritizing homeland defense (e.g. border security). I’m not anti-UKR involvement, but I am anti-how much we put into that vs. how little our gov gives a fuck about our non-existent southern border. We’re doing a horrendous job at prioritizing national defense actions, and that’s what pisses people off the most in my opinion.

  28. 3 years into the covid debate and I'm still waiting for the mass outrage over yearly flu shots, anthrax boosters, malaria pills for places that barely have malaria, and countless other onerous military medical requirements everyone just blindly accepts. Oh I forgot, none of those are political lightning rods so no one cares.

  29. I get the curiosity, but this is the internet and you should not expect anyone who actually knows anything about these aircraft or missions to give the types of responses you’re hoping for (this also serves as a reminder to the bros out there). If you ever make it to any of these, you’ll love whichever it is and learn to appreciate the strengths of the others.

  30. It’s a thankless job, it should definitely be a job contracted by civilians or done by GSs. The few good ones I’ve met were given some more rewarding responsibilities within the DOs realm to help them stand out. Of course that’s hard if the individual doesn’t give a shit to begin with.

  33. Apples to oranges and even I know that. The Ukraine - Russia relationship is not like any relationship we've had as a nation beside possibly with England (though even thats not really the same). There were about 3 to 5 million Russians living in Ukraine before the war started. They speak the same language and were part of the same Nation (USSR) for many years. Not the same situation at all. But, to play your game/question ... If we were about to be completely obliterated and the invader offered us a chance to keep most of the US intact but give back part of the region that already had many of "their people" living there, I'd negotiate peace.

  35. Not sure where it ends exactly, but if we keep going with the current plan I don't have much hope for Ukraine remaining as a nation and if they do, whats left will have 1/2 the population dead or permanently disabled. All I'm saying is we need to reassess and work as hard as we can to negotiate the best peace agreement we can to save Ukraine. This war is def shaking up Russia but they have banded together and won't trust us for decades now. They have upped their in-house production capability and are even selling more oil to Europe than before we "closed" them off and they have more liquid cash than they had prior to the war. From what I've been reading (from European and American news sources) patriotism is up in Russia and they trust the West less than they have since 1989 when things began to crumble for the former USSR. They've banded together with China in a stronger relationship and the world seems less stable than it's been in a while. I'm not a policy expert or a bureaucrat and am not a fan of Putin but I hate to see a country used up and spit out when there are probably ways to establish peace (with some concessions that might not be perfect). If Zalensky dies in battle soon, my skepticism of him might be proven wrong. I don't trust his motives, and he's a biden type "leader" who is all about himself and enriching his own. Towards the end, when Ukraine is completely toast, I see him heading for Florida or Switzerland and moving into a nice comfortable mansion to spend some of the billions we've sent over as he lives out his comfortable existence (similar to other scumbags of the late 1900s...Suharto, Marco, Seko, Aleman, to name a few).

  36. Well as I also mentioned I've been reading more recently and since I have a research background I can buzz through articles fairly quickly to see patterns and at least decently sort out some chaff. But I admit I'm not an expert or that knowledgable about all of the history behind the USSR and her satellite controlled countries/regions. I'm just seeing more and more data that supports the idea that the end is not looking good for Ukraine in spite of what the West keeps saying. A sampling of world news is writing that it's a lot more dire for everyone than we like to think. Maybe its worth it to us to destroy Ukraine while making Russia spend money like we did in Afghanistan and elsewhere. But we're broke and printing money like toilet paper too.
