a few thoughts. The Colorado (not lots of electoral votes) play is likely designed to get the SCOTUS response. The next State (CA) (lots of electoral votes) will know how to more effectively get him off of their ballot having seen SCOTUS’ cards. We are in the middle of a “cold” civil war. There is no way for either side to win. The left ALWAYS does what they accuse the right of doing. It’s their standard play. Collude with foreign actors? The Trump collusion story was completely fabricated but it’s becoming very clear the Biden’s did exactly that. Threaten democracy? Republicans aren’t doing anything close to threatening democracy. The border is wide open. The left is attempting to remove Trump from state’s ballots, changing state election laws, trying to keep him in court on baseless accusations, keeping him off social media to suppress his voice, etc. Insurrections? You can say the word all you want but that doesn’t mean a bunch of pissed off citizens (for the reasons above) were doing anything other than rioting. They certainly weren’t trying to overthrow the US government. Meanwhile, federal buildings and police stations were attacked for an entire summer by leftist. Racism? Democrat policies are DESTROYING the black community. Always have. Hell, the Republican Party was literally founded to fight the expansion of slavery. Tyrannical government? Look at the difference in red and blue responses to Covid. I could keep going but I won’t. This is all pure fucking madness. It’s like living in a bad dream. And it gets worse everyday.

I don’t get it either. Maybe she’s trying to demo all of the covid related shit (including her discharge) was nullified, and therefore she should still be a marine based at Iwakuni. But even if you follow that logic, why would she give a fuck to try so hard. Personally if I was her I’d want nothing to do with the Marines and move on with life.

I have friends who washed out of IFS and UPT. A lot of them went on to do some pretty interesting things. A hit hurts, but you can certainly get back up and do great things.

It’s not even the way of the future as much as it’s the way of the now in all aspects of life. As everything has become more networked, it gives access to so many things that we wouldn’t have had access to before and is one of those inflection point type things they mentioned in PME. It can do everything from ISR to SEAD/OCA (why send the gorilla package to clear the lane when you just turn off the fuel pumps at the base?) to nearly every other core function of the military. If you have a chance, look at the SOCOM budget allocation for cyber compared to airborne ISR compared to 10 years ago. Our cyber enterprise has a hell of a retention problem similar to pilots because of what you can make on the outside, especially with a clearance.

Yet his clown Press Secretary continues to say inflation is falling. I don't know how average families are getting by with these prices.

TLDR: It doesn’t say anything about you. I’ve been doing this Air Force stuff for a long long time. I’ve had countless doors slammed shut in my face. Some from bad timing, some from me not being ready yet, but most were from perception of who I was on a piece of paper. It took me years to understand how important it was to build your image of performance via your records. I have a feeling this is what happened to you where someone who doesn’t know you, took a look at who you are on a piece of paper and made a call off that. Unfortunately that is how a lot of promotions, awards, and other opportunities are judged. If I were in your shoes I would first enjoy the holidays. Then on Jan 3rd I would have a sit down with my Commander, reviewing the entire package and asking what needed the most improvement. If it was your writing on personal statements, create a rough draft and send it to 10 people you care about and ask their honest feedback. If they tell you it looks good, tell them to look harder. Chasing your dreams has a mixture of drive and being humble. You need to make sure you have the gas peddle all the way down while still understanding that your package can always be improved. Seeking that feedback to where people trust that you will not become defensive, upset, or ignore them is huge because that is where you are going to receive their honest thoughts which will improve your package.

Every time I hear the portal referenced in college sports, I imagine the Air Force Portal dumpster fire we all go through on a daily basis. Can’t imagine the result if it was built the same.

Recruiting is such a strange thing in modern college football. It's always been overrated, but now with transfer portal and everything else, it's insane how if you bring in a #1 class, you now just lost your previous #1 class to the portal. Such a weird phenomenon.
