  1. The douche canoe below known as Cat 5 (he has done more damage than a Cat 5 hurricane), also known as Fat Tony. As a SQ/CC he gave out 20+ Commander directed Q-3's, he tried to punish a U-28 crew dog with an LOR for losing his weapon only to lose his weapon a short time later and have it covered up when his Chief found his gun in the shitter. He was "soft fired" by the SOCOM/CC Gen Brian Fenton. Multiple people in the room/on the line for numerous confrontations between the two including a VTC in that dissolved to a shouting match. Fenton being the four star CC called CSAF and said move him or I will publicly fire him. USAF in it's infinite wisdom decided to save this piece of $hit and screw all the cadets at the Academy. They don't want any more bad press. Former AFSOC/CC and now VCSAF Jim "Slife the Knife" Slife has maneuvered to PURPOSELY keep gunship guys out of play (In the history of the only command that has gunships there have only been three gunship guys to command AFSOC....three out of the last four CC's have been Pavelow dudes...Fat Tony is a Talon turd, the only platform that will lift him off the ground. Slife is a complete sycophant who thinks only BPZ folks are qualified to command. He knows better than ANYONE...truly a HORRIBLE HUMAN. BGen Mike Conley is a well respected Pavelow/CV-22 dude, has been nominated to go from BGen to LtGen and become the next CC. He is level-headed and thoughtful and will hopefully bring some peace and stability to the command.

  2. For those not in the AFSOC-know, can someone break down who is who... where are they going... who and how did they promote from O-7 to O-9... and which ones are the douchebags? I can't keep up.

  3. What's more sad is that someone is sitting there filming without correcting her. Gotta be a training environment. Not much training going on.

  4. I think this is why he is so hated. He shows everyone what our political system has created. But rather than buckle down and fix the system that lets guys like this get into office from both parties, people would rather pretend that the system is OK, that he is just a single aberration and that if we can get rid of him then everything is going to back to being fine. We have gotten here by an absurd mix of a shockingly extreme level of willful ignorance, stupidity, selfishness, and a host of other problems in America. We need to get back to a system that creates national leaders like Doug Burgum, but he has zero chance because I'm betting 95% of America has never heard of him. He is the personification of the American dream; a self-made billionaire that has turned around and became a public servant rather than enjoy his money on a yacht. While I've never met the guy, I'd like to think that it is out of a genuine desire to make America a better place. That is the kind of people we need in Washington.

  5. Yawn. It was a riot incited by a liar. It was not an insurrection incited by a would-be tyrant. If it was, why did they give up once they had successfully taken the capitol? Trump thought the election was stolen from him. Just like Hillary thought the election was stolen from her. Just like Gore thought the election was stolen from him. No one gave a shit when all of those people questioned the Democratic process by blaming the Russians, or the Supreme Court, or voting fraud. I quoted you because of all people you should be keenly aware of why Trump "gets away" with everything he does, since you were projecting it on to Hilary at the time. It's because he is not remotely the first person to do it, he's just the trashiest. In all of the hyper liberal and vehemently anti-trump jurisdictions that are currently prosecuting him for various crimes, isn't it strange that none of those crimes are insurrection or any other violation of the Constitution. And the only remotely legitimate charge against him, the Florida case pertaining to the classified information, is the one most obviously violated by hundreds of politicians, including presidents and vice presidents, over decades preceding the Trump presidency. I've said it time and time again. The law doesn't matter to the people, they just care about the law being applied fairly. The Trump supporters don't care about anything he does because he's not the first to do it, just the first to be dragged into court for it. - Cheating on his wife - Using campaign funds to hide an affair (Why isn't John Edwards in jail 🤔) - Questioning the results of an election - Passively condoning rioting - Using his position to enrich family members - Lying about his past - Golfing when he should be presidenting - Accusing other candidates falsely - Taking drugs to maintain performance - Abusing executive authority - blah blah blah I wish Trump was uniquely odious. He's not, he just looks on the outside the way Washington has always been on the inside.

  8. I’ve essentially turned into a single issue voter, and that is, “will anyone please do something about the invasion, of our own country that is currently happening??!!” Millions of people pouring into the US - unchecked, unmonitored, unvetted, and unregulated…I know, I know, pretty far out there political view. I must be a racist.

  9. My only interaction with soon to be Lt Gen Conley was when he was the 1 SOW CC and he said we couldn't wear Friday shirts anymore. HOWEVER, most people that I respect who have actually interacted with the guy are excited so that's good. When I heard the rumors that a 1 star was jumping up, I thought it might be BG Tom Palenske (Conley's 1 SOW predecessor). I actually interacted with him a few times and he did one of the coolest things I've seen a commander do. When I told him my dad was in the 20th SOS "Green Hornets" in Vietnam, he told me he had been the Commander of that unit and went out of his way to make sure to send my dad a coin and have the 8th at Hurlburt show him around and give a really awesome CV-22 tour when he came down to visit. Very cool thing to do that he absolutely didn't need to.

  10. I'm not rationalizing it dude, I'm explaining it. I'm also not sensationalizing it like you are. January 6th sucked, but it was not an insurrection. End of story. I'm not voting for any of them because I will never vote for someone over 65 again, however, the entire root of the problem and why Donald Trump is going to win again is specifically because his opposition insists on treating him as a unique threat when in fact he is the exact same product with an uglier label slapped on. The regular people out there see right through this now, they don't know what the crimes are, the sins, the comparisons, or any of the other details. They just know that Washington has been lying to them for a long time and funneling a tremendous amount of wealth and prosperity from the middle class directly to their family and associates. They wanted a hero, but they are settling for a villain who at least validates their experience. Go look up the stats for how many Democrats thought the election was stolen when a Republican president won, and specifically Trump. The numbers are functionally identical to 2020, just reversed. It is unfounded sanctimony.

Let's see how this ages...

  15. I’m not saying I personally disagree with you but I don’t know what the detailed laws are in Florida. I’d like to think that what he did violates policy/breaks the law and that he’ll get a fair trial.

  18. Guard members are not assigned staff tours in DC, or anywhere else besides your unit or state. There are plenty of people who volunteer for staff tours elsewhere, if one is interested. O-6 and up becomes quite competitive and might require you to take a non-flying job somewhere to achieve the rank, but if you just want to fly, plan on retiring as an O-5. And the absolute best part of the ANG, is being a DSG pilot you won’t even have any other squadron job other than pilot. Go fly at your airline, and go fly at your unit. Best of both worlds just being a pilot!

  19. They can also be an incredible ally in one of the hardest years of your life. Certainly I've seen them be a drain - and that couple usually ends up divorced. My wife of 20+ years was with me before and through UPT and she made my life during training infinitely easier and more comfortable. She also found a part time job so she wasn't cooped up in the house all day just waiting on formal release. To CaptainMorgan's point... we weren't complete newly weds and it would have been more shocking to go from honeymoon to UPT in days instead of months. That's fine. And I agree 100% - don't let your Tinder/Insta/Grindr/Bumble/Farmers Only flings distract you. But my only advice is don't be so closed minded that if the right one drops into your life that you ignore her for the wrong reasons.

  28. JANUARY SIXTH. Yes, I'm yelling it to you. How many times do I got to say it? I dunno, maybe we honor the oath of office we take, Trump included. Comparing it to BLM protests is dumb and you know that. Since you like making nice little lists, make one of all the times Trump honored the Constitution and Oath of Office. I don't know what's the bigger disappointment, that Trump went along with Jan 6th or that people think what he did was OK. PS. I got conned by The Orange Man back in 2016. Thanks for reminding me.
