  1. I don't pay to advertise or send out mailers but if any of you are sitting at 6.25% or higher on a VA loan that you've made 6 payments on with a loan amount under 766,550 I can drop you down to 5.75% at no cost (I'll pay all the transaction fees to include the VA funding fee) so you don't have a breakeven then we can rinse and repeat as rates go down. I can't do it in FL right now though cause the state taxes push the cost to high. No catches or fine print. If you have a loan above 766,550 give me a call and I'll take a look at what we can do based on your disability status or state you live in. When in doubt call me to check. We have a special pricing incentive for streamline refi's going but it ends on 3 Sept so hit me up sooner than later. Here is the website to knock out a quick app: https://tridenthomeloans.com/irrrl/ Feel free to call me on my cell...850-377-1114. Cheers! Jon

  3. There’s basically zero chance you’d get released back to a fighter if you’ve already been trained in a heavy platform. It’s hard enough to switch platforms in the same MAJCOM, let alone cross-MAJCOM. Once that heavy drops your name in an FTU class with a fixed number of spots per year and spends time and money training you, they’re gonna want a payback in the form of several years of flying in an ops squadron, and then the functional will want to keep you as a body to fill shortfalls within the community or white jets. The “promise” of a going back to a fighter will be a long-forgotten empty consolation for your hard work in UPT that was made by someone who is now no longer in your chain of command.

  4. But you are still undefeated...on U.S. Soil. Fun fact, FSU is the first team to ever have sole possession of last place in the ACC, now we all know why you sued to leave the conference.

  5. My class got hit with this same crap back in the day. 2 fighters out of 22 T-38 assignables. Fast forward and all the heavy and AFSOC guys are at an airline and only the two fighter dudes are left on AD. That first kick in the nuts woke a lot of us up on how important we were to the AF. 6. My guess is any of the weird ANG/RES hiring decisions: wing commanders kid, olympic swimmer, hot chick, hiring enlisted dudes from other units for some weird bro-level drug deal. I saw a lot of shady/weird stuff when I was rushing units, to include a guy who was in UPT for a ‘135 ANG unit, out rushing ANG fighter units. He was told to leave, never return, and they called his unit. Unsure what happened to him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  7. True but he was saying it was cheaper and still working at the time the Bobs fixed the glitch. I would add that the 38 fleet is old and not getting any younger, the T-1 came about to give breathing room to the the 38 program. Killing it was not going to make anything better. Divesting the T-1 before the 38 was replaced or in the process of being replaced was utterly penny and pound foolish. It amazes me how incompetent the AF has become of late, while it was not an insignificant cost but not an onerous one for sure, divesting the only multi-engine training aircraft you have was not going to make anywhere near enough money to fix other problems. Divesting it also was not going to radically increase production of students who met the time tested minimum requirements to then wing and send to FTUs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. AFPC can’t get out of their own way. Same shit happened in ~2010, with FTU backed up they basically didn’t drop Vipers for 18 months. Personnelists fixed the glitch and PCS’d, only to leave the 07-09 year groups with essentially no Viper pilots. Lots of stupid 2nd/3rd order effects flow from those kind of poor decisions, not the least of which is some real mouth-breathers having a clear path to rank just because the AF desperately needs O-6s in their AFSC and year group.
