We hire within our unit every year and we've never taken any gifts from non-fighter pilots rushing the unit. Just do your job incredibly well. Have the HMCS and NVGs ready to go. Keep the gloves and piddle packs stocked and ask how the sortie was when they drop gear off. That's a great way to open the door and learn what they do after they step out the door.

hello, im in AFE trying to be a fighter pilot for my unit, and im looking to get the pilots upstairs some alcohol for the Hollidays. I thought it would be a good way of getting my name out there more to the pilots I haven't met yet and just to be a team player. this question is more towards fighter pilots, but if you drink a lot and know the goodies, what kind of drinks, ie. whiskey, vodka, Jeremiah weed, etc. was the best you've had? I want to buy something that they would enjoy, but not spend too much mula. I appreciate your guys' help. happy Hollidays!

Concussions are no joke, especially if you've had multiple or one from a car accident. I would personally get checked out to make sure you don't have a brain bleed. I recently went through the FC-1A process with a concussion on my record in the last 3 years, no loss of consciousness, less than 40 days of symptoms per the MSD. It was a non-issue and I didn't need a waiver at all. Put your health and safety first, man.

You should definitely delay/avoid a CAT scan that might find brain impacting issues in case you apply in a couple years....

That’s what NGAD started as (open architecture, rapid adaptability, etc.) and then the mil industrial complex kicked it into 6th gear and fucked it all up. I don’t blame the AF for taking a pause after seeing some of the more recent costs and demands from industry. Acquisitions and industry - For the love of God, just fucking produce something that is relevant, adaptable, at least realistically affordable (even if still a rip off), and doesn’t take 20 years. I’m just guessing but… Results were posted last year in April. I TDY’d to PIT in June and won’t even finish the program till Feb which will be after the close out of my last PRF. I.e my PRF will be the same as last year (or worse) with nothing to add. I won’t be an instructor on the PRF.

Concur but one can still argue on BO for it and other lost causes… Light capabilities in general are needed for MOOTW (dating myself with that term but it captures a lot of what we do now and likely in the future) Light air mobility, light fighter, low footprint high endurance RPA, ACE light logistics, etc… just my retired guard bubba cents but this could doctrinally fit into the Guard or AFSOC (sts) with the right leadership seeing that we will be deterring and occasionally fighting in places other than the SCS against the forces of chaos with capes that require not a sledgehammer but a small hammer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
