  3. Good, clean kill. Sitting 0-6 Installation CC should know better. Would have felt the same if it was about Kaaamala.

  4. My reading is just fine. Your argument is falling apart as the administration abandons it in real time..

  5. Checks. Many of them got shuffled through the ranks over the last decade, now that their sex won’t carry them as far some of them are getting upset. Same with African Americans. I would say this is the case with any current Trump policy. When you’ve gone so far off course as a nation (taxes, civilian workforce, DEI, transgenders, foreign aid, etc.), an abrupt bank back to centerline is going to seem extreme to those who benefit from said insane policies when all that’s happening is a course correction back to normalcy.

  10. The people with those concerns should have been laughed out of the room. Buy a couple of Super Cubs, Decathlons, or any number of GA airplanes, and teach people to fly taildraggers. It is done every day with low-time GA pilots in a couple hours.

  11. Thank you! It's been a long four years. I started my last two years of undergrad as a transfer student due to having CCAFs in 2017 after I left the USAF. I graduated with that, started my masters program three months later, spent two years doing that, and started my doctorate in 2021 right after graduating from my masters program. I'm glad this is a terminal degree since I'm burnt out now. I'll be 43 next month and just wanted to finish all of my higher education as fast as possible. I would like to become an adjunct professor in the aviation sector.

  12. Did you ever teach in the t-6? I never flew in the t-37, so I don't have a good comparison with a side-by-side trainer, but I never found the t-6 difficult to teach in. There were so few buttons and knobs to manipulate in-flight compared with more advanced aircraft, that you really didn't need to see the student moving their hands and touching the buttons to know what they were doing. As an advantage, the ability to disappear as an instructor by simply not talking was quite valuable for letting the student get lost in training while still being observed. Every flight was a simulated solo if the instructor chose to remain hands-off.

  14. Instead of giving heavy deployers more time with their families I think ACC should use that day for full Class A open ranks inspections...with demerits.

  16. Pure failure of leadership at the squadron level, in my experience at least. I've seen the same absolutely idiotic decisions because sq/cc's didn't know their ppl, ignored their desires (even when it made sense), or outright used the vml to punish ppl they disliked. AFPC leadership owns plenty of blame. The bros at the porch have been bailing like crazy after that assignment. Based on what they say about AFPC leadership I don't blame them.
