I’m sure this will turn out fine. https://www.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/3800809/department-of-the-air-force-launches-niprgpt/

How do you feel about your airframe and mission?
Rifleman96 replied to innovator's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, don’t do it. 11R’s have been beat up pretty good the past few years; no bonus, smaller bonus, harder to make O-5. It’s going to remain overmanned while they’re sunsetting airframes, good riddance JSTARS. I would have given anything to get back to the Herc. -
Until clear evidence is shown it is only right to keep eyes wide open. But there is at least visual reference showing strong language from our own President and at least one other governmental worker. Those videos I posted earlier in this page.

Timing is a bit coincidental…. https://notesfrompoland.com/2022/09/26/new-polish-gas-pipeline-from-norway-to-reach-full-capacity-ahead-of-schedule/ Vid 1 - Victoria Nuland at 3:00. Vid 2 - President Biden at 1:28.

Give ‘em to some CAP units.

Has anybody looked into the feasibility of “interning” at a flying job?

Aviation Continuation Pay (ACP - The Bonus)
Rifleman96 replied to Toro's topic in General Discussion
Wonder how this will look. "The fiscal 2017 NDAA provided authorization to increase Aviation Incentive Pay, commonly known as monthly flight pay, which the service plans to increase this summer." https://www.af.mil/mobile/News/Article/1202627/air-force-announces-significant-changes-to-aviation-bonus-program/ -
FY 14 Force Management Program (RIF, VSP, TERA)
Rifleman96 replied to AOF_ATC's topic in General Discussion
It is found on your ADP page. Mine did say C-130 B/E TAC AIRLIFT, but has recently changed to PROPS-MC-12. -

RIP brothers. The pilot was a good friend. Like others have said, he was just an all around great dude.

So you figured them out. I'm 30+ and I'm still right there w/ the 18/19 yr olds.

Anybody here gone through Ranger School? It's not just about meeting the standards. Most are washed out in the first week because they don't have the mental fortitude to gut through it. Yes the official answer with the fitness test is so many push ups/situps/pull ups; but it is also a test of the mind. Guys are typically knocking out 90+ push ups in that event because the grader will mess w/ them and not count push ups. A candidate will continue to knock them out until they have achieved the minimum number. The grader will mark down the 65 push ups required but as I said before they more than likely knocked out 90+. The same goes for the rest of the test with the exception of the 5 mile run in 40 min's. Ranger school is all about a gut check. A lot of guys who make it past the first week, who are at the top of their game physically, will not make it due to some form of leg/knee injury from all the rucking that they do. Then there is also peer evaluations. So how do you think a woman will make it through the peer evals (that will be out the door). Anybody ever watch any of the documentaries on Ranger School. To quote my wife, "women are already loopy from the start." Men are working on almost pure instinct by the point that it gets to where guys start hallucinating. I don't see a woman even making it through Infantry Training which I have been through. If we are looking at full equality. Then I would suggest that there is just one PT standard which males currently do, true equality since there is no real difference between a man and a woman. As a father of a daughter, I am completely against it especially since this will create a possibility that she has no choice but to enter military service. I do not believe in equality. Some are made stronger, faster and smarter and good on them. In the realm of ground battle, men have the obvious advantages that are necessary for winning battles as quickly and efficiently as possible. I can remember my Parachute Infantry Regiment Company Commander almost disowning me because I had purchased GI Jane. I thought it was a half entertaining movie. But I knew it was fiction and could never happen. I know it won't happen until they lower the standards for the sake of equality and giving in to the whining women that want leadership positions just for the sake of the title. It will be harder to operate and win quickly and efficiently w/ women in the combat units.

I must also add "dirty LEGS", for those who weren't AIRBORNE. We referred to the non-ABN Army as Regular Army. In our minds there was a very distinct difference.

Predator Follow-on

Three other C-130 guys that are in my rpa sq have received RIPs for U-28's to Hurlburt. One is for an "alpha" tour, '01 yr grp, C-130 AC before volunteering for rpa, MQ-1 FTU grad spring '08, volunteered to remain rpa in the only rpa crossflow board. The second is '04 yr grp, C-130 CP voluntold to rpa, never met the crossflow board due to MQ-1 FTU grad after 1 Oct 08. The third, '03 yr grp, C-130 AC voluntold, MQ-1 FTU grad Oct '08 then voluntold to MQ-9, released from rpa in xflow board, he was offered C-130J to dyess or U-28 to Hurlburt, took Hurlburt for location. He has already PCS'd. LR C-130 pilots got raped in '08. -

Wow, if that is not a blue pill hype-fest, I don't know what is. Guys I guess have to make their crap jobs smell like roses so that they can still get some form of perceived respect. The RPA term is just one more aspect of the AF playing with words to make themselves feel better. The best play on words the AF has fed those involved with the UAV community is "the truth changes." Which is in reference to nobody getting out of UAV's for a very long time. I would be more understanding if leadership just admitted their faults by saying they screwed up and had no real clue of how to plan building the UAV community. By the way, my own Wing CC, who is qual'd in the pred, called them drones in an O-call.

Predator Follow-on
Rifleman96 replied to ygtbsm's topic in Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA/RPV/UAS/UAV)
Finally got a form of reprieve. Previous C-130 AC, non-vol'd to RPA in '08 to Cannon, never met the crossflow because I graduated Pred IQT a month and a half after the deadline. Just got a RIP for MC-12W's Beale for permanent party. I was hoping to be the first guy to return to the Herc but apparently that option is not availabe. -
The one thing that isn't advertised is that since schools like Parkview have failed to achieve a good enough grade two years in a row on the standardized testing, parents can place their kids on a list to attend the better schools like Zia. Being on the wrong side of the "tracks" i.e. hammons has been a real pain in trying to sell my house.

If UAV's is the way to go, I challenge our gov't leadership to lead the way. 89th AW nothing but UAV pax aircraft. On a serious note, we are BROKE. The economy is crap and I think the market is building up for another huge crash. Nobody is going to be able to afford the full infrastructure required to control all those UAVs. Man I hate UAV's.

I can remember, prior to his CVS departure, that he called out on one's individual professionalism if they did not shave on the weekend. We were even threatened with article 15's.
