I'm not sure U.S. hostages are treated humanely anywhere anymore.
Count me among those who don't care that KSM was waterboarded 183 times.
If it were up to me I would hold more in-the-field trials and executions of the enemy.
The rules of Geneva just don't apply like they used to.
I guess I just don't consider sleep deprivation and writing fake letters saying family members have been captured to be torture. No, I wouldn't like it if the enemy did that to me. But the enemy is more like to just cut my head off with a dull knife anyway.
The LogTen Pro site says the desktop version is free till 40 hours, then costs $149. The iOS apps cost $29 plus an annual subscription of $49/year. Am I missing something?
My wing is collecting copies of drivers licenses and proof of insurance in addition to the MSF card, hazardous activities worksheet, and commander's brief for all riders. Is this normal in most wings?
Any chance the 2015 NDAA goes back to 75 days of carry over or did that ship sail with the 2013 NDAA? Looks like I'll need to burn over 50 this year to use all my current use/lose and get my balance down below 60 by September 30, 2015.
What's a debrief?
Seriously though, I don't really have any idea what happened, and think that people of all ranks should treat everyone with basic dignity.
You can download the NGA Aero App for free from the NGA NIPR ePub website. Not really any more functional than your paper FLIP, but everything is there digitally which (AP, GP, FIH, approaches, etc) if you want it all in one place.
No, I said that only other Captains care about DG at SOS. Maybe I should qualify it by saying that nobody in my community ever cared about your SOS DG, or your ROTC DG, or your USAFA Top 10%, or your UPT DG. Nobody. Ever. Except on your PRF...where it belongs.
You know who cares about SOS DGs? Other Captains at SOS. And maybe some Lts hoping to someday go to SOS. I have never once heard anyone above O-3 talk about SOS DGs. Will it make it to the PRF? Yep. That's pretty much it.
NSA confirms. Hacking is one thing, and there is no defense except to opt out of social media entirely ... flash mobbing a public faceplace is another thing.

11 inch MacBook air entry level refurb starting at $750. That is only overpriced compared to an 11" Asus at WalMart.
I'll add on...I finished an immersion to Uruguay this summer where I attended classes for 6 hours a day 5 days a week. I've been in online LEAP classes since May twice a week for an hour each. My DLPT went from 2+/3 to 3/3 and passed the OPI with a 2. LEAP requires you to take the OPI after an immersion TDY.
3/3 in Spanish with the SEI gets me $275 a month.
I found it under the "ARP Option Definitions" on the ARP site in myPers. I'd post the link but my work computer blocks BODN, so here is the content:
Code B:
- 20 years aviation service: initial eligible fighter pilot (11F)
- 20 years aviation service with 50% up front: initial eligible fighter pilot (11F)
Code C:
- 5 years: initial eligible pilot
- 5 years with 50% up front: initial eligible fighter pilot (11F) and pilots also qualified to fly RPAs (11U)
- 5 years: initial eligible weapons system operators (12F) only
Hopefully that saves someone the 15 minutes it took for me to find it.
