It's unlawful command influence and probably not...based on what was said. Not a JAG either, but a Commander basically has to tell you that you will do X or there will be consequences. A person having some idea that he might look like a p*ssy or not based on his verdict versus doing the right and just thing is not unlawful command influence. Closed yesterday on a new construction VA home loan with Trident Loans. Locked in at 3.375% (no points) on a 30-year VA fixed on 9 May and closed with no issues yesterday on 14 Jun. Marty was extremely easy to work with and easy to contact. Between Lauren and Christy, this was an easy process that resulted in a highly satisfied customer. As a matter of fact, we were cleared to close on 31 May in what was the easiest home loan I have ever submitted. From the initial loan app there was one request for additional documentation and Christy took care of all the details. I highly recommend Marty and his team. I was around when the boots in the ramp policy was around. This is not urban legend. If you didn't sign the bonus (thus tipping your hand that you were getting out) then you were not allowed to fly. Not sure if you read the whole article...especially the part where it says they were in an off-limits area of Bogota...if you did, I'd be careful saying that it is standard Ops for a particular squadron to routinely go to off-limits areas in any particular TDY location.
