  1. Funny, yes. I do endorse what I say, but some people went through and marked comments down that should not be marked down. It never made sense to me, so I gave the post positive ratings to bring them back to neutral. Weird? Sounds like a good time, though only if the "weiners" you refer to are the kind you throw on the grill. I realise there is no good way to word that so I went with the one that is least likely to run one astray.
  2. Every time I see schnitzel it is attached to the word "weiner." Ich habe neine schnitzel? ###### it... 我不韋納有 I will make sure I am within five feet of my legal guardian the next time you come to Boston.
  3. Here's some WTF fun: Probably NSFW Can you tell a Thai Lady boy from a Thai woman?
  4. Does the mass of the universe exist in a black hole? So Poplawski seems to be able to mathematically support his claim that when a black hole is created another universe is created within it. The math he presents in the paper shows the energy levels and physical mechanisms that are necessary for this to happen. What is really cool and weird is that this theory comes complete with the explosion and expansion phenomenon that happens inside the black hole that parallels the Big Bang and any subsequent inflation thereforeafter. It is the star's collapse towards the singularity state that can trigger the chain of events needed to generate more energy/mass than we observe in our universe. There has been a group that has peddled a theory called the Fecund Universe Theory. It is pretty novel and interesting theory, but has never been regarded as anything more than an insane conglomerate of random ideas. It seems like Poplawski wants to give the Fecund Universe Theory a fundamental mechanism to build on.
  5. BQZip posted this sign in his yard after people started hazing his mom.
  6. What a festering ###### sore. Maybe they are having the children recite it because their dumbass parents are losing sight of their patriotism, and they do not want the children to fall into that same hole of stupidity. If your child is an American citizen, then America is where your child's allegiance lies. Teach them to think globally all you want, but never lose sight of where you live and where you come from. No educational value? It is done with the morning announcements and takes but a few seconds. This does not take up precious time "globalizing" your child. People like this really piss me off. I come from a shithole country and I am the happiest person to be here. There are Americans that think life is better elsewhere just because the culture, language, whatever is different. It is not better. The rest of the world sucks. I would think someone that was in the Air Force would know better and at least have the slightest bit of pride in her country.
  7. I did and fair enough. I had a Fox News sensationalist moment, but it is really stupid on the DoS's part. That family does not deserve a phone call. They deserve swift kicks to their asses.
  8. The State Department apologized for killing Anwar Al-Awlaki. Are you kidding me? When does the family apologize to us for not raising their son better?
  9. I get it, and they do deserve to get beat down, but to pull a metal pipe on them? You are not a ######ing man if you do that and especially not if you continue to beat them while they are down. How many guys are behind that counter? They could have easily restrained those chicks. That guy deserves to get his ass beat too.
  10. Yes. I believe it is on the shelf with the other bottled waters.
  11. Do any of you guys know where I might be able to find a J-11 manual? Preferably not printed in lead ink. 谢谢..err...thanks.

  13. I wonder if we will see an Iranian official killed in the next few days. Although that would be admitting to the plot, so they will accuse him of taking bribes and then kill him.
  14. They are particles with a half-integer spin (such as protons, neutrons, and electrons) that make up the matter in our universe.
  15. I like that one. Here is another good one: Two fermions walk into the bar. The first one orders a drink and the second says "I will have what he is having."
  16. It is fairly obvious where they were going or coming from...
  17. Happy Jew Year, everyone.
  18. Not a whole lot. You used to be able to easily break into people's computers, but most new laptops and computers have so many firewalls that it is difficult to penetrate (sts) without them being able to reverse track to your relative location. Basically it is kind of pointless to do that anymore because you are most likely going to get caught. You can try to track where they live, but it is easy for hackers to hide their IPs under layers of proxies. You cannot get a full name and location unless you have a legal reason to (which you seem to have). A quick search says Druid Hills, GA (??).
  19. The magnitude of effect is way too high. The brains at CERN are brilliant, but this has to be an unaccounted for systemic error, some sort of large extra dimension that increases the strength of a quantum gravity-induced violation of Lorentz transformations, or something no one could ever see coming. I am 99.69% sure it is systemic error. You do not have to worry about shmeplicating with some temptress with Bud Light from Alpha Centauri any time soon.
  20. Yeah, ugh. I would ignore the media's wording. Stupid news travels faster than light neutrinos Tachyons. We are looking at neutrinos traveling ~ 7,435 m/s faster than light. 16,111 detected events over the last four years is not that great statistically speaking. I am only a second-year undergrad student, so please do not mistake me for an authority over CERN, but there are an assload of places where inaccuracies can build up in their system- too many timing points with tolerances- so this is most likely an error. Look at SN1987A. Why, if neutrinos travel faster than light, did the neutrinos from the supernova arrive on the same day as the light? Not four years earlier like they should have according to CERN's detected speed?
  21. https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/blogpost/post/neutrinos-may-have-traveled-faster-than-the-speed-of-light/2011/09/23/gIQAo04HqK_blog.html I am not sure why everyone is so concerned with special and general relativity. I guess that is just the media being stupid, but QED is going to take a hit if this is confirmed. The significant error puts it in a range that could have been sub-c, so I really would not get too excited about this. Though it is funny how people are crapping themselves over this, stating that we would have to throw out everything we thought we know about the universe. Physicists have been speculating about a subatomic particle that can travel than the speed of light for about fifty years now-the Tachyon. If the implications are true, we do not need to start from scratch as this sort of development has been built into various theories.

    Gun Talk

I am not going to buy a Hi-Point, it is just something we shot at the range. I was defending it because I do not think it is bad for what it is. To be fair, I have read a lot about Glocks exploding on people and there are a few videos of HPs surviving some extreme torture tests. I would not want a Glock any more than I would want a Hi-Point gun from what I have read so far. I have awhile before I can buy a gun or until I can save enough to have one of my parents buy the gun. I am still testing the field and I am definitely not going to go cheap. I do not want to pay for a name either- it has to be worth it.

    Gun Talk

I am more worried about making sure I am doing everything right so that something does not go wrong, or so the gun does not explode and load my face with shrapnel (sts?). Besides, I have only just started my second year as a student. We are more into the paradoxical "It can only be absolute" bullshit surrounding classical and quantum concepts of the fundamental nature of size. Classical mechanics will sufficiently explain why the bullet moves the way it does and you do not have to pour much thought into that. Where you get into trouble thinking too much about something is when you begin to wonder about the quantum phenomenon. At that point you may have just blown your finger off.
