If any of you guys are serious runners, Newton Running offers discounted shoes for around ~$100 (Normally priced $149-175). In my experience they are the best racing/running shoe on the market and cater more towards natural, more efficient running. They recently released a shoe that sells at the BX or for special order that is more normal colored. There is another navy blue and grey shoe in the works. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Anyways, I think it is time Brendan Shanahan found a new job. He sucks at this one. I am fairly certain it is an NHL by-law that if you kick someone with your skate, you get a two-game suspension. The worst Michalek gets is an indirect warning for it. Shanahan came down on Torres hard and rightfully so, but he is generally inconsistent with fines and suspensions. New exec! Like if ESPN showed it? That would be nice, but the only way that is happening is if Brett Favre or Tim Tebow put on skates.

Yeah, I watched it a few times and if he stayed on the ice it would have been acceptable. It is still a problem that he wasn't called for jumping into it, targeting Hossa's head. Have to draw a line somewhere in the rules. Should you be allowed to stab someone in the stomach with a sharpened hockey stick if it is done in the process of finishing a check? Not that there is anything wrong with that...

No, I know he played for the Devils, but I don't remember him. I am going to look for a replay. It looked like he was away from the puck, and Torres came in with a lot of speed, left his feet, and made contact with the head. He also has a history of intent to injure.

I love this series. Even though it looks like the Flyers are in the Pens' heads, game three is entirely up for grabs. The Flyers are better on the road and have been outscored 1-6 in the first period (outscored Pens 11-2 for the rest of the game), so the Pens have a chance if their defense actually shows up. If the Flyers win tomorrow then I say get out the brooms. It is a must-win for Pittsburgh. Likely installed by the same people that installed the concrete slabs in the South Boston tunnel. Krejci is OK and will probably play tonight.

Excuse me for LingMAO. I am no MacGyver, but what tools was she supplied with to sharpen a stick to that degree? I feel like it would take a lot of force to penetrate all the layers of skin and muscle with a stick (sts). Unless you are treated like a king by captors (given adequate food, sleep, and not beaten), how would you ever have the strength to do that? It is hot goaltending at the end of the season and in the playoffs that makes or breaks teams. On another note, Canucks getting raped by over-the-glass penalties. Luongo is a dipshit too. He looks like he flails his arms and just hopes he deflected the puck away from the goal.
If you are not watching the Flyers vs Pens series, you should be. This game so far has been awesome. Staal and Kennedy have been impressive, so the role players are stepping up. As much as it pains me to say it, I think one of these teams will take the Cup.

They are not affected by their actions and introducing "laws" to try and prevent these suicides does nothing. They have no shame nor respect.
What has happened to self-esteem? Why are people driven to suicide because of what other people say about them? No amount of legislative nonsense is going to resolve this issue. Harassment extends beyond school, and teachers and administrators cannot protect their students on Facebook, the bus, or wherever else it happens. Like Rokke said, all of these laws are "feel good efforts."
