Getting PCS'd to Langley. Single JO with no responsibilities. Would like to keep the commute to under 45 minutes knowing that traffic can snarl. Open to buying a house/condo/townhouse or renting. Seems like buying something worth while might be out of my price range after a little bit or searching.
Any insight/tips for me? Has anyone lived west of Norfolk/portsmouth and commuted across the bridge? Seems like a gamble.
Since you have tried in front of friends...
Find a stranger with kind eyes....piss in front of him/her/it until you are no longer nervous. Then add another stranger/hobo. Rinse and repeat.
All is not lost. I have come to learn that "Home of the Fighter Pilot" has been replaced on the Nellis main gate sign. Kudos to whoever had the stones to put that back up there.
This keeps getting better. One of the 5 released was responsible for the offensive in the late 90s that forces 300,000 afghans to flee. Just as we're packing up to leave we leave them with a nice little you with a bow tag on top.

The story behind Bergdahl and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance are far dirtier than has been released. Most people on his OP had to sign an NDA. Hopefully it will eventually get out. The families deserve the truth.
Yeah reading his twitter feed is unnerving. He wrote(since deleted) on 28 May "I am still working to free all Guantanamo prisoners, God will repay for the death of every Afghan child. Amen".
He seems like a gitmo, islamist, taliban, pakistan sympathizer.
The Cartels are already all over the country and have been for many years. There has just been a concerted effort by politicians and law enforcement to cover it up.
Awesome...thanks. I'm not banking on enough free time to play courses too far away from base. Probably going to resort to playing the military courses and try and squeeze 18 through in 2.5 hrs or less.
