No, it can’t. We do not have military IPs running our simulators. There is only a finite amount of time available in a given day available for sim use and all 4 are nearly always in use. It would take giving up the sim maintenance time from midnight to 0800 and a new contract for sim IPs and maintenance. It will only get worse next year when one of the 4 sims used by 8 squadrons for IQT, MQT, and CT is torn down. So, no, you cannot just absorb missing training in MAF assets without giving up something else like everyone’s CT or other things.

Everyone seems to think somehow APZ will displace IPZ. It is not likely because most people APZ are not given strats or good pushes regardless of their performance. 19 AF only cares about developing fighter pilot candidates. They want to completely get rid of the T-1 and graduate pilots to the MAF with minimal capability.

If they’re making the five year window 2BPZ-2APZ it won’t change shit just like how the new sub-categories won’t change shit and how the 2-line PRFs only make us waste less time writing PRFs but won’t change how the board works.

People in AMC training (at the MAJCOM level) are of the opinion that the product coming out of UPT is not quality for MAF operations. Like everything else it won’t really matter or change anything because people who are already APZ have OPR(s) that no longer have a command push or strats as a result of being passed over. I need 3 lines, so I'm looking at $45/mo/line for Start Unlimited, minus $25/mo/line, so $20/mo/line + taxes/fees? Right now my taxes/fees are ~$17. So 3 lines for $77/mo? That'd be awesome, but I feel like I'm missing something. You should be able to see the discount before you confirm the plan change on the Verizon webpage. You could also just call them and they’ll tell you what the discounted prices will be. But I do think you’re reading it wrong. It is a discount per account not per line. So with three lines you would get a $25 discount. Not a $75 discount like you calculate.

I had a friend who was twice passed over to O-5 with no continuation offered. He had a bonus (5 years) that took him to 21 years. He was forced to retire and they would not let him stay past 20.
