I’m 90% certain Guardian is the latest PYB. How long until a full blown meltdown? Does he still drive his Eclipse? Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app
Actually it is a 6 hour class and 5 hours of it can be covered by CBT, sim time, or a combination. Source: I went to AIS once. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app
You have a timeline to keep. They were supposed to give you the continuation paperwork when you got your 2nd non-select counseling MFR. If you don’t sign by (30 days I think) it is automatic non-continuation. I could be wrong I haven’t read that reg in a while. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app
Amen and amen. I’ve had the opportunity to be a DO in garrison and deployed. Day to day ops was do it smart and right. Every once in a while there was something that required pushing the envelope...but those days were the days to double-down on top cover to make sure the right people were on the missions and the risk was mitigated or accepted with full knowledge at the AC-level. CCs are supposed to manage careers and DOs are supposed to lead the mission and protect the people from themselves and the leadership above.

Use Rule 7 not Rule 6. I’ve seen people get approved for ground school (ATP/CTP) and I’ve seen the same commander tell them “no” for the flight portion because it doesn’t help the AF. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app
It isn’t an ADSC, bro. You can leave any time after you complete other ADSCs or even transfer ADSCs. If you decline...ADSCs don’t matter you’re out 6 months after the board stuff IAW the AFI. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app

If you said “two airmen married to get out of the dorms” I would understand. But do people really think people get married purely for tax benefits? Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app
If you’re talking to the little tanker that’s probably the best answer you’ll get. We do random AR and non-standard formation all the time. “TANKR 11 request random AR along the route of flight FL220B240.” And ATC has always said “approved.”
You don’t need an ALTRV in the US. It’s nice to coordinate with CARF but your tanker can just file and request random AR along the route of flight. Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app
