  1. Anyone want to staple their eyeballs? Anyone want to set their pubes on fire & put em out with a screwdriver? Anyone want to take a 720 to BIAP with no TDY pay?
  2. I actually paint all of my guns neon green & yellow with orange muzzles, just to confuse people.
  3. IIRC, you'll basically take ordinary leave from Little Rock. Adhere to the PTDY time limits for it, and when you get to your final duty station, get your supervisor to sign off on PTDY for those dates you used it (it will of course be in the past). Finance, or whomever owns the PTDY process at your base, should then be able to take that authorization & credit those leave dates back onto your balance.
  4. Full disclosure: if you try to fap to it, you'll likely be scarred for life. However, this movie should be at the top of everyone's list of flicks to show their kids why drugs are bad, m'kay? Honorable mentions to "Trainspotting" and "Blow"
  5. That last one looks like something Jennifer Connely had a close encounter with in Requiem for a Dream.
  6. The 2 pics on wantscheck of some goob handing a giant novelty check to 2 cadets for winning his "stroke my ego" essay contest look like the same guy as well.
  7. A 30-second cross check of the wantscheck & PYB blog bios (PYB.tard has "suddenly" gone offline) shows admins named 'Rynizzle' & Skyclops, an FSU grad pilot & a Harvard law educated intel officer (wifey). A 45-second browse shows an essay contest that ended in 06-ish, whose topics always strangely focused on constitutionality and officership. BL, there's a strong-to-quite strong chance you found the constitutional scholar of the century. Edit: the Harvard law education & the fractured interpretation of the constitution seem to be par for the course in today's world, so I imagine old PYB has a bright future in the current administration if he can get out of Cannon before the next election.
  8. "The rumors are true, we are working on releasing new forums. We had a healthy forum in years past, but took them down as good discussion was occurring on the BaseOps.Net forums. Since Rich Hauben's unfortunate passing, however, the forums have been declining greatly. We will offer an alternative for airmen and others who take their service to our nation seriously. We will send out a special email to each of our 16,000+ registered users to introduce the launch of the new forum. Click Here to View!" Read: everyone there keeps dogging me & kicking me off, so I'm taking my ball & going home.
  9. That's a different rant. The one he posted up first had more expletives, baseless threatening & childish bitching than a Call of Duty death match on XBOX live
  10. Her & Miss South Carolina should have a dumb-off about maps & 'like such as the Iraq'
  11. It was torpedoed by a bipolar asshammer. Should return to normal soon.
  12. I wish to hell I'd saved it, it was amazing in a "look-into-the-mouth-of-madness" sort of way. Him taking it down so quickly is probably just the first step in him "coming after M2 in a manner of his choosing. You won't know when & you won't know how, but do the math & look it up" Reminded me of another speech I heard recently: "YOULLLLL NEVURRRRR SEEEE ME COMINGGGG"
  13. Haven't seen it, but let me venture a guess: Col X refuses to strat Supes because he's only 1 of 2 in his peer group & the other is a flag officer. Cant strat him or give him the quarterly award because it would hurt Zod's career. Also, he didn't do his PME & wears an unauthorized uniform combo?
  14. May have been? He averaged 6.9 PYB blog references per post. If he wasn't PYB, he was his greatest cheerleader.
  15. The Air Force most definitely has the emPHASis on the wrong sylLABle WRT masters degrees. However, it's a requirement & that's on mama blue. That being said, it's completely within your power as to whether that degree is worthless or not. You can't piss and moan about being required to get an AAD, get the most worthless trash diploma from TUI, then bitch about having a useless degree. The Air Force didn't make anyone waste their time on bullshit, those that chose to, wasted their own time & money then whine about it. Just like PME; I agree it needs a major revamp, but arguing that it's a worthless integrity violation to go it just because others min run the system is assuming you will do the same. That shit is all on you. No one makes you waste your time but you. (In this instance. I know at least 69 other ways the AF makes us waste our time) ::cough cough POWERPOINT cough cough::
  16. So... Back then, The chief said no AADs, and AADs were masked. Now AADs are unmasked & the chief has said get one. How is that unclear? I didn't have to read chicken bones on a fire to figure that out.
  17. Look, I'll be the last person to defend the system as it stands, but everything you've said is the adult equivalent of the fat kid stealing the kickball, punting it over the fence & screaming "this game is stupid, I didn't want to play anyway!"
  18. Get over yourself dude. SOS in correspondence is an integrity violation? GMAFB. Who ever said you had to cheat to do SOS? Not doing your PME as a professional officer is just stupid. You shot yourself in the foot & the only person to blame is the guy with misguided integrity issues staring at you in the mirror.
  19. Not personally, but it's a fairly common occurrence across the CAF now
  20. My last rater would have us send him a data document split into 2 parts: one with the raw data that you wanted to use & one with your hack at a bullet with that data. He'd then use it to craft the OPR. After having written most of my own OPRs, it seemed like practice bleeding, but for younger dudes, I thought it was a good exercise in bullet crafting, as well as giving the CC something to work with.
  21. Just get MAJCOMs to sign off on an ACES program like the U-2 & B-2 (incidentally for the exact same reasons) Piece of cake, right?
  22. That was beautiful!
  23. I think we found nsplayrs heir
  24. ^ this New guys are timid because leadership discourages aggressiveness. The push is always to make the conservative decision. Sq leadership isn't held accountable for mission failure, so that shit never rolls downhill. You've all heard this mantra in its various forms; "Safety first, mission always" "Whenever you make a decision, imagine my face in the HUD, and if you can explain it to me..." "Be conservative" "Don't be afraid to cnx as the A/C" Most communities tend to be very insulated from the ground dudes we support & never see the ramifications of these decisions. Combine that with the rampant CYA attitude in today's Air Force & you have a Petri dish for breeding timidity.
