It's been a few years since my white jet tour, but unless something has drastically changed, the pool of assignments is AF-wide. Your SQ/CCs will rochambeaux with their counterparts at DLF & END to work out the final drops. They'll use MASS scores as ammo for their arguments, but in the end, the 3 #1 guys are generally equal (unless they're gunning for a special drop, like a B-2, then differing scores will matter) Your OGs should have the same scoring policies across UPT. I imagine it's probably outlined in 36-2205v4, but I'm too lazy to look it up right now.

The ceiling tiles stayed up, unless the class patch was "offensive", then it was removed, along with every Thank You plaque with that patch anywhere on base. The wall of patches in the OG bldg looks like the toothless mouths of so many MS locals now. It's just sad.

It's a self-licking ice cream cone too. Part of the problem is many of the bad managers don't know they're bad managers. I'd wager very few guys (even shoes) wake up in the morning & think "I'm going to be a shitpump today at work!" They're taking the taskers their bosses give them, and carrying them out like they've seen their bosses in the past do. We only know what we've been taught & have been exposed to, so the odds of a endless cycle of bullshit grow exponentially with every generation... Like the plague.
