Who the F cares?

Honest question, any idea why? Why would they want to discourage people from getting married? And to stay on topic, I got out and shot the Winchester SXP I posted a page or two back. It shoots and cycles great! They way the action is designed the recoil partially pushes the bolt back, so if you apply a little rearward pressure on the forearm while you're holding it, it pretty much opens itself for you as soon as you fire. Very fast! Pretty light on recoil too. I tried shooting some trap with it but with an 18" barrel and no choke I was just chipping a lot of clays and not blowing many up. But I also am very new to trap and I suck at it so that probably didn't help. Still fun though!

My PCSM went from 99 to 82. That was with 6 hours though and now I have like 65 or something like that, which would give me a 96. Good thing I was already selected, otherwise those 3 points might have messed everything up for me! ETA: I looked up my AFOQT scores out of curiosity and they haven't changed. Did they not update the AFOQT yet?

Sounds like you know more than me! I do know that some of my favorites so far have been Oliva and Gurkha. I think I have had a Rocky Patel or two that I really enjoyed too. I also have a few Cuban Romeo y Julliettas that I scored in Mexico left... I like those a lot as well. My little desktop humidor is getting kind of sparse so I think I will order some more samplers pretty soon. Maybe I can narrow it down a bit. Really the only cigars I have had that I really did not like were a ziplock bag of about 6 that I bought from a little booth on the street in Mexico for like $10 and brought back... I remember last summer I was up on a ladder smoking one while fixing a flood light on my garage and suddenly I felt like I was about to tip over! Maybe they were laced with some kind of 'bonus'. I'm getting pretty good at recognizing the smaller differences in beer and coffee; I guess cigars are next on the list. Wine and liquor I still don't really know anything.

Yes! I'm in the same boat. I have just been ordering samplers and stuff online to try different brands. I don't really feel like I can tell all the little differences between different cigars like some people can, but I am aquiring more of a taste for it.

Kikland Tequila isn't too bad either. When I have people over and grill out in summer I usually pick up a couple bottles to make margaritas and stuff, while I'm buying 20lbs of brats, etc... Better than other cheap ass tequilas at least!

Saw Top Gun in 3D IMAX last night... pretty impressive on the huge screen! They also showed a trailer for a Jurassic Park 3D IMAX re-release coming, I think, in April! The movie theater I was at is having a Die Hard marathon tomorrow starting at 11am; they are going to show all the Die Hard movies back to back, ending with the new one at 10pm... Not sure if I should take a day off to check that out or not.

+1 We got my wife an SR22 last summer for her first gun that was "hers." We have both put a ton of rounds through it with no complaints; it's fun and easy to shoot! If you're looking for high velocity .22LR ammo, Gander Mountain has some on sale now: CCI Mini Mags (1600 rounds) or CCI HP Stingers (900 rounds) in an ammo can for $100. Not sure if you have a Gander near you though and I don't think the sale is online. There was quite a bit in stock at my local store last week, surprisingly.

I know what you mean... We'll see how we get used to it after some serious shooting. I really liked the feel and especially the trigger of the Sig P238, which is almost as small, but neither of us wanted something with an external safety. I guess that's the tradeoff.

Yeah but all they had was some Remington super duper target ammo for like $45 a box! No thanks. They even had regular Blazer 9mm marked up to like $22 / 50, although it was still sold out. Usually that stuff is one of the cheapest around here at $12-13 a box.

Yeah I got a few boxes of #8 target shells for $6.50 / 25, and a couple boxes of 00 Buckshot for $6 / 10. Way less per round than the cheapest 9mm they had in stock, which hurts my brain! This was Gander Mountain BTW.
