  1. This is a long one (sts). Good for the size queens. Lol
  2. I bet these guys like being pegged. I call these guys out on their bullshit and not with my mouth. It's worth being arrested for. That guy better not say that to an operator. Those guys actually know how to fight. Lol. But a throat punch is a throat punch.
  3. Lol. I always turn into Homer's Dad at somepoint on here. You're right. My dad said the same to me. The smart kids are the quiet ones. The dumbasses get famous for being stupid. What a strange culture we have? Lol
  4. Id give up all monetary possessions to remove mental illnesses from people who sufer from them. All of it. Its fucking scary when you cant control your mind or actions. When your family is always uncomfortable around you, when you cant go out without getting into verbal and physical altercations with people. Thinking you're going to die because you hit a bump in the car. Pointing weapons at people you love. Thinking about bad things most of the day. You cant have conversations with people because you cant stop talking (pressured speach). Scaring your family and friends daily. Seeing and hearing dead people. Nightmares every fucking night. Get help if you need it, don't end up dead or in jail.
  5. I was diagnosed with PTSD by the VA in 2019. I had completed RTP for Compass (God rest her soul) flying the E-175 out of LAX and talking about going to the Majors on every flight before that day. It was a bummer. I called my Chief Pilot at Compass and told him I can't fly anymore and didn't renew any FAA physical, any of them. I haven't flown anything (Cessnas, Pipers, Helicopters or anything) since. I drank most days in the AF. Never got mental health. My wife made me stop drinking in 2018. Thats when the real trouble started. A year later I cant fly anymore, but I can surf. My friend just got locked up last week during a PTSD incident. He was an army ground dude. Solid guy, he just had a bad few days and thought he was somewhere else. And now he will do some time. He was in my garage on last Wednesday. I didn't read the signs right. I thought something was off about him but I couldn't tell. I just found out what happened because his sister called me today. If you have PTSD get help. Biff Im ok. Just pray for my bud and his family and remember that its not a joke to need help.
  6. I think General Chang knows who did it.
  7. I didn't know our children still read books. Lol I know that the 20 somethings (with or without a college degree) think they are smart but most of them dont know when world war 2 happened.. not even plus or minus 10 years. Good job academia. My bet is the country will be finished once they start making laws. Good bye military retirement and what was social security? That wont be here either. At least I can marry another man and we can make our children get a sex change. Oh yeah, we had some slaves too at one point and white men are evil. No matter what white man it is or if they have money and power or live under a bridge. They are all bad. There is no wiggle room on this one gents.. sorry. That's just the way it is. Oh, and nobody else is racist. Only white men. And only when the other person can't articulate what I (white man) did to them personally. Not some guy wearing a powered wig 200 years ago. Lol. No more laws in this fucking country. Please stop making them and get rid of at least a 100 hundred of them. Our President is a scumbag. A compulsive liar who does shady business deals using his position in politics. Change my mind.
  8. Our Saudi Pilot in UPT told a few of us (classmates) on a friday as we were sipping a few cold ones in Python flight, that "I almost pulled the ejection handle in the pattern for the flashing OBOGs light" we thought he was joking. He wasn't. I told him to never tell anyone that again and that he is fucking retarded. The IP had no idea. He would have ejected into the Vance AFB housing area on a Friday afternoon. The saudi is now a F-15 pilot. I am confident that one of my gunners could shoot him down with a m240. Lol.
  9. They need to countersink those screws a little more. Lol
  10. @uhhello Sounds like a freshly winged Lt getting into dynamic rollover on the first takeoff lol. Remember slopes on NVGs? Lol Good times
  11. I flew the UH-1N. I was is in the 1 HS, 36 RQF and 40 HS. Three different missions. I wanted to fly 53s but they retired them when I was in UPT. CSAR was awarded the 47 so I thought that'd be cool to get into that mission because they are actually spending money to beef up CSAR, that didn't happen. CSAR guys were still doing cool shit at the time but in locations I had not wanted to ever see again. The CV was too new at the time. I had a good time in the Huey. Your mission is stateside (and Japan) though. Dont get me wrong, plenty of 11H3s deployed as air advisors and etc... Helicopters in general sit some form of alert. When there is no action, you train and sit alert. Sometimes 39 minutes from your family, other times you're in some shit hole with sand everywhere and a dude named Biff bumming smokes off you. Helicopters are ATVs of the sky. You do strictly military type flying in helos. Low and slow.. you will have friends who die flying them but my God, there is nothing like hovering at 200 AGL, at our bingo, pulling a dude off (sts) a mountain and seeing your FE wearing an old man mask on his helmet. Beard and all, dangling in the wind. Fuck yeah Spider! Helicopters are fun to fly. The missions can be dangerous and sometimes deadly. Helicopters are hot and sweaty. Missions are rewarding. But you can sit 100s of hours of alert without seeing any action at all as well. Hueys are being replaced with MH-139s. They have retractable gear (dont forget). AFGSC is spending a little money on helos. They are all AD units. CSAR has AD, ANG and AFRC units. Im not sure how much ACC invests in CSAR but it seems like a pendulum. Probably the coolest mission the AF does. Dont tell my 60 buds I said that lol. I have no idea about the CV mission. Just wasn't in the cards for me. Edit: Doing armed nuclear convoy escort in a Huey was cool as well. I actually liked that mission. Mountain flying was a challenge as well. Edit: Helping someone on a really bad day is the most rewarding thing I ever did in my life.
  12. What mission do you want to do in the AF? Your package looks good "sts" for OTS. That being said, I retired from AD in 2018. I applied to OTS when "W" was in office so things could have changed since then. It's a little harder to get the "mission" you'd like to partake in going the OTS AD UPT route. You will have to compete for slots with your bros (sts, kinda like real life lol) that are made available by the needs of the AF. I flew helos. I wanted helos. I told all the dudes in my UPT class that helos were gay, but I told all my instructors from day one of UPT that my balls were too big for a fixed wing. Lol. In all seriousness, for AD dudes, UPT is like a reality show where you compete against your bros to get whatever the airforce has available for you. ANG and AFRC already know what they will be flying. I imagine that removes a little stress from the competition at UPT. To answer your questions: 1. Your extra curriculum seems applicable for an OTS application. 2. School name probably matters a little. IE. 3.7 from Harvard vs 3.7 from Devry Diesel Driving Academy. 3. Maybe some volunteer work?. Not sure on this one. You just wanna make yourself look motivated and leadership minded. These answers are very basic and apply for OTS. Im not versed in the ANG, AFRC hiring process.
  13. "Dudes who drive slowly by a human they can help or recover but pull a cell phone out and record her dieing saying "we cant help her" are scum". - Biff.
  14. Except for the fear that the Fat Yellow Baron is on your six.
  15. https://www.stripes.com/branches/air_force/2023-08-21/air-force-f16-mishap-misawa-japan-11112221.html Oops MP: "Should I write this up as a hard landing?".
  16. This was a funny observation as a Californian who spent 20 years seeing the world with uncle Sam. I saw a few Hurricanes, Cyclones, and tropical storms throughout planet Earth. This was a joke of a hurricane, Kinda like Hilary is as a person.
  17. Lurch is definitely being pegged by someone in that photo.
  18. Pussies. Lol. If we ever have to fight a bunch of PGHs (pasty green hairs, or woke warriors) I expect it to be over pretty fast. They are pussies. They were 10 feet away from her going 10 knots.
  19. Its covid lol
