My best friend became a trans. I grew up with him. We surfed together, served together, I was a groomsman (his brother was the best man) at his wedding. I was there when he met the mother of his children. He got out of the military well before hitting 20 years and was a very successful investor. Over a decade ago, he got addicted to speed. He has since left his family, he hasn’t see his children since July of last year. He’s been battling this crippling addiction for a while. His latest adventure (which I’ve mentioned here before) is becoming a woman. He has lost his fucking mind. The trans movement has made it harder to get him help. As I’m a bad person for suggesting maybe it’s the drugs making him this way. I called his mom on Mother’s Day for him. She’s devastated, along with his dad, ex wife and children. I check up on him weekly. My guess is my friend will detransition when he’s finished being a selfish asshole, addicted to drugs. He’s still my brother, it’s just really hard watching someone do this to himself.

I dont trust anyone in these photos to fit the definition of "good people". Our government is corrupt. We shouldn't lie to ourselves that one side is less corrupt. They all suck. Some a little less than others. Bill Gates is the creepiest of them all. Edit: I know at the local level the corruption isn't as bad but the higher up we go, the more we have. Not all politicians are bad, but I think the balance is leaning towards more of them being corrupt than not.

While we're at it legalize prostitution. Who cares? Just stop telling me that a kid is victim of "genocide" (they really need to look up the definition to this word) because he cant get his donger chopped off at age 15 against his parents' will. The 15 yo, get ready for it, is not a consenting adult in the U.S. If they wanna let children under the age if 18 make adult decisions, then let them go back to work in the coal mines as well. Quit telling the children what to do. Who are you, their parents? Lol

It was a little harder getting ATIS in the Huey single pilot. We were so slow, it'd change several times from the time I was 7 miles out to touch down. So much ATIS. I have nightmares about it.

As a former FCF pilot, thats "nuts", big huge ones lol. Edit: Fully articulated rotors won't fall off like a "semi rigid" (sts) underslung rotor. Lol. I did a lag roll pretty close to my form partner in T-6s. My instructor let me do it. It was my rec ride for form in T-6s. Other than my checkride the next day, it was one of my last memories of flying upside down, as I tracked helos.

Definitely a different mindset needed for crew vs single pilot ops (Who's gonna get ATIS? lol). Regardless, if it has afterburners or not. UPT should be a base to establish these different types of mindsets, not the operationl units (sts). A dude with pilot wings should know the basics for the type aircraft he's flying when he shows up to the Sq. Crew based flying is a little different. It's hard to share lol.
