I'm in the boat of bitching too much. If I could have been more tactful, maybe I could made a difference instead of demoralizing the younger dudes at the bar with my bitterness. I regret that. Leaders like ClearedHot did it right! China still sucks! lol

I would feel bad if we didn't help Taiwan (same way I feel with Ukraine) but I don't necessarily think it would work out for us too well if we responded to a Chinese attack on Taiwan with our military. Dudes are gonna eat it. I hope China doesn't do it. But hope doesn't mean anything. I'm tired of our dudes dieing in other countries as well. I'm still hoping for someone to find those WMDs in Iraq? Anyways I won't be flying for Red China. Lol Good discussion

I can't give you an American flag as I've hit my limit to use that function for a few more hours (sts). So, once again, I have to say "I Agree" with everything ClearedHot said. I'm also curious what HeloDude thinks about our relationship with Taiwan? (Not a dig) I'm not convinced which direction he'd like us (US) to go if China happened to use their gun powder on Taiwan.

With all of the forgetfulness and binge eating of ice cream, I'd swear he's taking tokes off of a bong.
-
I 100% agree with you right here.
-
So it wasn't "our" (Americans) resolve that lost Afghanistan after all. I haven't cited anyone. China has declared us their #1 threat. Not me or our leaders, China. Our NSS is based on it. Read it. I respectfully agree to disagree with you on the state of our relationship with China.
-
"We" as in the military or the average American? For the average American, I don't think they really cared what happened in OEF. I doubt most of them even knew it was still going on. It wasn't the average American's resolve that lost OEF, it was bad leadership from the top (civilian and military) and lack of will from the Afghans. Plenty of examples of wars popping off between trading partners in the history books.

Pre Charlie Sheen Denise Richards was very nice.

I also agree 👍. My mind is blown.
-
I agree 👍 (mostly). They are our enemy. Other than that, yes.

Says China. Ask your intel shop what they think about this. Ask the PACAF commander what they (PACAF) are doing in Asia. I don't want to go to war with China (I'm retired and don't have to). I also, don't want them learning how to defeat us in a war if it should break out, especially from our own ex military members. The vast majority of Americans couldn't point out Taiwan on a map. I don't expect them to want to stop buying cheap goods from China either. I also don't think most Americans care where the cheap goods come from as long as they're cheap. I hope I'm wrong and maybe China is our ally? My bet is they aren't.
-
I get your point. We (average Americans) don't really have control where our goods are made. Nobody held a gun to my face and forced me to buy a Chinese made number two pencil. However, I can personally tell China no when they ask me to learn them something for money. Don't question my sincerity, question those who made it this way.
-
At the present time, it's damn near impossible to buy goods made without some sort of Chinese manufacturing tied into it. You and I both know this. Greedy businessmen and politicians did this to us. The Chinese are our enemy because they hope for the failure of our way of life. Freedom is a huge problem for the CPC and we have a lot of it.
-
So your reasoning is because greed has moved most manufacturing jobs to places like China, they can't be our enemy? Xi has a J-38 waiting for you.
-
Then by all means, go teach the Chinese how to fly. Just don't get mad if I call you a traitor. Just because I'm forced (please don't tell me I can choose to purchase non Chinese made goods) to buy goods from China, doesn't mean they have my best interests at heart.
-
And they'll call you a racist. Lol
-
If I decided to teach the Russians our tactics during the Cold War would you consider me a traitor? I sure as hell would. China is our enemy. If you train them for financial gain, you are a traitor.
-
Anyone around after the pullout (sts) in Vietnam? I'm curious if this is similar to the status of the military during the late 70s?
-
If you teach our enemy to kill us for money then FAHQ!
-
What are they concerned about then?
-
I guess it's time to kill some more Brits. F-ing traitors!
-
Just trust them. Lol

Meanwhile the Russians are using rape as a tactic. I would argue dropping those two really big bombs on Japan helped win at least one war.
