If it's designed for single pilot then it'd obviously be more manageable but as it stands, it's a bad idea. But like a few guys have hinted at, why not just go unmanned for the close stuff. Design future AF fighters for both boom and drouge. Kiss the giant manned (unmanned?) tankers good bye as you continue on to mainland China behind your ucav buddies with baskets. Godspeed. HeyEng be quiet! /s No shit. The biggest jet I've flown (as a pilot) is the mighty E-175. V1 cuts in that small shadow of a jet were hard enough with two pilots. Time to teach the boom how to raise flaps, gear, use the AP and FMS. Especially during one of those days where you can't see the end of the runway on your takeoff roll. Its harder than one might think (sts).

It's a product of the last 30 years of being taught to hate yourself if you're white. I'm calling it what it is. I remember being taught that we're all Americans and to not see race when I was young. Now the message is to be proud of were your ancestors came from unless they came from Europe. Until this changes, we are always going to be divided. I'm not really sure why people are so "proud" to be from somewhere. It's not like we got to choose what color to be born.

I got Chiefed for cutting the chin string off of my boonie hat. This was in 2003 as we were invading Iraq. I saw another dude get Chiefed for not wearing his ID on his arm as he was eating at the chow hall. He had just finished flying in Iraq. This was around March - April 2003 time frame as well. We were literally invading Iraq and all the Chief cared about was an ID card on an arm. We were flying every day with min ground time. Barely had time eat. I've always wanted to thank that Chief for keeping us safe in the chow hall during those crazy times.

I've got around 100 hours in those. I never owned my own so I don't know the mx issues on it but like Kaputt said, they're fun little planes. Definitely get the newer avionics. I cant remember what the legs are on this thing but 3 hours sounds about right. I could do 3 hours in this bad boy but I'm not sure I'd like to bring another grown man with me. Lol.
